My wife and I spent 2 nights at Goodwin House Bed and Breakfast at the end of June. We stayed in the Cherry room. The innkeepers, Robyn and Tom were both very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and the ensuite bathroom was very clean. The bathroom contains a large Jacuzzi air tub and a tiled shower enclosure,... more

My wife and I decided have ourselves a one night getaway somewhere close to home. I found the Goodwin house online, and since Burton is a quaint little town less than hour from Cleveland ....... well there you go. We were NOT disappointed. We love century homes, and this one has a charm lacking in some others. The owner Robyn,... more

I decided to stay at the Goodwin House B&B on one of my business trips, and I got everything that I expected, and then some. The owner was extremely kind and helpful, and offered advice on places to eat and things to do.. In addition, the room was extremely well appointed.. The bed I slept in was more comfortable than... more

I spent a night at the Goodwin House while visiting Burton, and enjoyed the stay very much. It was easy to find, located right on the main street of town, and had ample off-street parking 'round back. The room was well appointed, with a four-poster, and a comfortable mattress. The feather pillows were full and comfortable, and foam pillows were... more

My husband and I stayed here on our anniversary. Robyn, one of the innkeepers, helped us in finding a place for dinner and a local winery to visit. She even made phone calls to make sure the establishments were going to be open late, since it was later in the season. That evening, after a chilly walk around town, we... more

First review despite the fact that we have stayed at Goodwin House a few times. The place is a beautiful old house near Burton's town center. We enjoyed everything: the hospitality, the food and the accommodations. Breakfasts are always enjoyable and filling (no need for lunch that day). During our last stay the breakfast included coffee, fresh fruit, a smoothie,... more

My husband and I stayed at the Goodwin House one weekend night as part of a longer escape that we took to the Cleveland area. In a nutshell, stay here! My husband and I are tough customers- but we can tell you that this inn is lovely- the rooms are well appointed and pretty, the innkeepers are friendly and very... more

Nice old inn near the county fairgrounds. We enjoyed the room and air conditioning (boy, it was a hot in Ohio that weekend!) Nicely located near the "sugar shack" in Burton's center - their maple syrup making facility and store. Breakfast was delicious and the gentleman was very helpful and polite. Highly recommended. more

Our family recently made a visit to Burton, Ohio for a two night stay and had a wonderfully relaxing time. My husband was doing some work at Century Village, a collection of historic buildings (like Deerfield, Henry Ford Museum) run by the Geauga Historical Society. Burton is a little treasure, and very New England like. We took our daughter and... more
