Having lived in the area for years we knew of the Struan Inn, so decided to hold a family dinner there. It was excellent - great service, lovely home cooked food and friendly staff! Would definitely return back and tell all our friends to go too! Apparently the Errochty Lager is very drinkable too!! :)

Quality, traditional and fresh Scottish food - hearty portion size (which we'd never complain about), beautiful setting, tentative and very friendly staff and reasonably priced. Open for drinks only too. An unexpected gem of a restaurant in the middle of the countryside. Really worth popping in, it's rather nice.

This was my birthday treat to myself. We stayed at the small and lovely inn because of the great reviews we had read on various travel sites. Our room was pretty and comfortable. And the appeal of the pub room and adjacent dining room cemented our decision. Our innkeepers were incredibly friendly and professional offering pleasant conversation while in the... More

This is a fantastic, secluded, sparkling, 'Highland Gem' that everyone must visit. The setting is classic 'quiet off the beaten trail highlands' not too far from the main A9 route, but just enough to make you realise that 'tranquillity is king' when taking in the local scenery. We have had a wonderful stay at the Struan Inn, and are totally... More

Went here last night for a family birthday meal the food was amazing and the service first class. Bob and Mary Ann made up feel very welcome. Loved the cosy fire and seating in the bar area. Could not fault a thing. Will be going back soon :)

Valentine day we had to go back and was not let down! We enjoyed Scottish hospitality at its best. On arrival you are greeted with a lovely log fire just what was needed on a cold snowing Febuary night. We enjoyed a drink at the bar and placed our order, not a big menu but hey what was on it... What a lovely place to stay, food is of a very high standard, and the owners are most friendly , rooms are decorated beautifully a little of the main road but well worth the visit some amazing walks around the area , and you never know you might be lucky enough to see some of the deer .

This hotel is absolutely wonderful as are mine hosts. Made to feel welcome from the start. The decor is beautiful throughout and our red bedroom was delightful. Gareth's cooking is fabulous and we had two great nights in the cosy bar with other guests. After their chores Mary-Ann and Bob joined us for a blather. All the very best in... More

This place is tucked away from the A9 next to a river. Its a beautiful old building that has been decorated in keeping with tradtional scottish taste. Ive fallen in love with tartan carpets! The bar is very cosy with a log fire and the dining room displays a lovely set of antlers. The food was very tasty and its... More

I stumbled on this after a long day's travel. What an oasis. The room was lovely, the food is great, the beer is good and the owners are great people. Had dinner and breakfast which were both excellent. Great, fresh local produce. Could not recommend highly enough.
