This motel is right down next to the beachfront park, but it's an older building with a poor design. Most rooms are at the back (but some have views over Ada Ryan gardens) while the "seaview" rooms look across a footpath, a patch of dirt, a road, then a low wall, then the park to the sea - OK but... Fairly basic motel, with great restaurant! The ocean view room was large and comfy, if a little dated. Clean with great views, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom was clean, however it's very small and needs updating. Room air-con was the old type - wall mounted above the door - and fairly noisy, however it did the job and wasn't... More

A basic hotel, quite outdated, although the bathroom has been recently upgraded. Clean and tidy with a nice view of the Whyalla foreshore. The owner was nice and did his best to ensure that my partner's breakfast request for crispy bacon was proper crispy (which it was!). If only the room had a spa! Would stay there again, though probably... More

Good comfy room and bed. Friendly staff. Has a restaurant and bar if you dont want to venture back into the main street. Would be awesome in summer as its right on the beach. Hint - if you have antennas on your 4wd that might interfere with the 2.7m clearance at reception.. Duck through the carpark on the beach side... More

Probably the best location in Whyalla, overlooking the sea and only 5 mins walk to shops. Our garden room was a good size, clean and functional. The bathroom is small and could do with updating. The main door fitted where it touched, which wasn't in many places. A small continental breakfast is included and all staff were friendly and efficient.... More

Unaccustomed as I am to staying in motels, a breakdown in our motorhome landed us in the Foreshore Motel. What a pleasant surprise. The recently renovated sea view rooms were a delight. Clean, refreshed daily and a shower that pins you to the wall. Add the fabulous Waters Edge restaurant and Ben and Bev have Whyalla sown up. Congratulations.

We arrived after checking out of our previous accomodations due to how poor they were compared to the website. The guys here couldn't have been better. the Hotel is a little dated, but the staff are great and they could not have been more helpful. If I am ever back in Whyalla I will definately be staying there.

I have stayed there five time for business throughout this year. Each time the staff (groundsperson, housekeepers, restaurant, office and admin) are exceptionally friendly, courteous and accommodating of guests needs. the beds are comfy.Rooms exceptionally clean and maintained. All have recently had a makeover of new linen, soft mattress underlays, bedcovers making beds even more cosy. There are some newly renovated... More

The room that I was in overlooked the Ada Ryan Gardens which were beautiful and green when I opened the windows to admire the view. The room that I had, had out dated décor however it was spacious and would suit a family with two single beds and a large Queen. The place was clean. There was a swimming pool... More
