This is a great location within walking distance to town, river and picnic parks. Friendly staff, competitive rates and very clean amenities. Unusually (and delighted to experience) large drive through caravan sites. Have recommended this caravan park to lots of fellow travelers.

We stayed one night at the Waikerie Caravan Park. It had all the basics covered. We also enjoyed a nice evening down by the Murray River, just across the road. The bedrooms were pretty small and the upper bunks didn't have either ladders or railings which made for some ''middle of the night'' issues. All in all though it was... More

I was pleasantly surprised with my stay. It was only overnight but would recommend Waikerie Caravan Park to everyone. I was greeted with a pleasant but professional Sue at the office. My cabin was basic but clean. The grounds were very clean when I arrived. That's when the fun started. The sulphur crested cockatoo's by the multitude arrived and started... More

We stayed 4 days out of the 7 that was paid for, extremely noisy due to people who own on site accommodation being drunk and loud until all hours of the morning! One night we had to start work at 5am and couldn't get any sleep because of drunken site owners drinking and being extremely loud until 4am! Rang police... More

We arrived prior to the check-in time but our cabin was ready, cleaned and all we needed to do was pick up the keys. There was five of us staying in a 3-bedroom cabin. The living and kitchen areas were spacious for a cabin however the rooms were very tiny! Literally, all you will get in each is a bed.... More

We travel to Waikerie every year to visit family. We have tried all of the available accommodation in Waikerie. We spent 7 nights in one of the deluxe cabins. They are a little pricey with no discount for staying more than 7 nights. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The caravan park is in a great location... More

OK! these caravans aren't much to look at but they are cheap, clean, comfortable and very efficiently organized - rather like a boat! We were planning on birding the Gluepot Reserve, a private reserve that is the largest original mallee preserve in the country, and this was one of the nearest places to stay. We entered the Murray River area... More
