Hi there stay there winter 2014. Room has had an ensuite added which does make things easier. Does not leave a lot of room left but good enough. View out the window is basically what we were here for. Watching the weather roll in over the bay was very good. Negatives, both on the internet and in there guest service... More

We have just returned from Streaky Bay after spending 7 nights there. We did not stay at the Streaky Bay Hotel Motel but ate there 4 nights. The food and service was excellent.. All our meals were cooked to perfection and the help yourself veggie and salad bars were always fresh and restocked. The Sunday night Roast night was delicious.... More

We'd seen this hotel on the TV show, 'Coxy's Big Break' and had booked it then and there. Arrived in town from Adelaide and our reservation from 8+ months earlier was still current, no problems. Beautiful lounge area/bistro, fabulous meals and good prices. The place was busy due to the 'Sunday cavery night'. There's a small gaming room, where we... More

The location was perfect and the gracious building sits comfortably on the foreshore. The rooms are as you expect if you've stayed in country pubs before. A bit dated and tired, good water pressure and showers & the view from the balcony is perfection ( bring along a cool beverage and something to nibble on and watch Streaky Bay in... More

A group of 12 stayed here for 2 nights after flying up from Adelaide. The courtesy bus was very obliging in picking us up and also taking us back to the airstrip a couple of times over the weekend, all for no charge. Sitting on the outside verandah, with views over Streaky Bay, was a great way to unwind after... More

Have been visiting here about 3 times per year and always had a good meal. not over the top but enjoyable. the last few times the meals have been average. Recently there were 5 of us with 2 being locals. the meals were what I would call average even for a pub. A gentleman on the table next to us... More

We stayed a night this week on our way from Perth to St Georges Basin, and were very relieved when we arrived after what seemed a very long way in the dark from Ceduna. We stayed in the hotel upstairs with a balcony view. Hard lugging bags up very steep steps. Was a little alarmed at the quirky warning about... More

Had a lovely time here with the accommodation which was modern & clean along with great hospitality at the adjourning pub for drinks & dinner. Could not fault this place at all, our only regret was that we couldn't spend more time here. I imagine in summer this place would be a buzz with activity due to its proximity to... More

This place has some nice touches but some terrible problems. Firstly the rooms out the back aren't bad. They seem to have new furniture and the bathrooms are large. Unfortunately you'll have to carry your luggage upstairs because there is no lift. The bistro and pub area is nice overlooking the water, the rooms only get a glimpse. My room... More
