Great location, quiet eco friendly, clean, shady & close to town . Very informative owners, best coffee recommendation (Quorn Cafe) as well as walks (Dutchmans Stern). Thanks Bronwyn for the stay. Loved seeing the work you're doing to create a water wise garden.

We were delighted to meet you both and have the time to chat - one of the bonuses when we're in our quieter time of year. Happy that you enjoyed the Dutchmans Stern loop walk - it's named as one of the 40 Great Short Walks in South Australia - and it lives up to expectations. Thanks for compliments on... More

Having stayed at this park many times over a number of years, we always come back. We have used tents, camper trailers and the on-site cabins, and use this park as our base for exploring the Flinders Ranges. Gary and Bronwyn always make us feel welcome every time we arrive. The cabin refurbishments have greatly improved the comfort level, and... More

Thanks very much, Eric & Liz - a terrific review particularly from returning guests. We enjoy having you stay with us too! The standard cabin fit-out worked well and we're particularly happy with alterations to the bathroom. We were happy too, to be able to move the bed - as you say it makes moving around easier and good for... More

there is nothing like waking up to Kookaburras in the morning. This park has enormous charm . Gary has spent a lot of years perfectly the look of old bush with various logs and artefacts scattered around the beautiful red gum trees. Ground is hard, amenities are very clean and there is some shade. Town is a walk through the... More

We've had an explosion of life particularly the past year thanks to rains and it's wonderful having several families of kookaburras living in the park. We're glad you appreciated the work we do in creating a natural bush setting :) We clean and garden naturally - cleaning without chemicals - and gardening without pesticides and herbicides - to create a... About the third or fourth time around, staying at Quorn c/park. The quality of the water seemed a lot better than in 2012 and it's good to see those old river red gums again. The owners, G & B, have a relaxed and positive attitude as hosts. There's been a lot of time and effort put into upgrading the property,... More

Thanks for your belated review - it's well worth the wait! :) We're happy that you enjoy staying with us and as to water quality, it could be because of a good fill of groundwater. It's not the greatest water for cups of tea! Thanks also for appreciation of improvements - it's our return visitors who notice all the changes,... More

I ve been here several times and I feel at home. They make you feel very welcome, are very helpful and the setting is just beautiful. Lots of birds and kangoeroes watching you through the campkitchenwindow. The amenities are clean and good. And Quorn is a perfect base to explore the Flinders.

We're hoping you'll be leaving the Netherlands for your second home in Australia, Natascha. Wait until you see the birds this year! Good rains up till winter has meant an explosion of life - including six kookaburra families - be warned - you will be woken! :) We'll look forward to seeing you again and until then, keep warm! Having just read the previous 10 or so reviews which all are positive, we can only add that we agree. So, not much point in saying it all over again. We delayed our visit to Quorn until after the long weekend and end of SA school hols as Bronwyn had mentioned over the phone that they were "chocka". We wanted... More

Hello Sandgropers! Your review's brought smiles to our faces - so thanks. We're happy you enjoyed our bush-style park in our beaut little country town. Emily's Bistro delivered excellent breakfasts this morning - no lunch for either of us today and visiting family from the Territory were happy to be back too! We'll be looking forward to seeing Russell Crowe's... More

As we were looking for a budget accomodation, we stayed in a simple but cozy and clean bunkhouse. The caravan park itself is very nice, the facilities extremly clean, the open kitchen area spacious and the hosts friendly and helpful. Plus the surroundings (especially Dutchmans Stern hike) are fantastic!

We're very happy we could help with budget accommodation. We understand sometimes it's preferable for international visitors. At the risk of repeating myself, "Dutchmans Stern loop walk is one of the nicest walks in the Flinders Ranges!" :) Thanks for your generous review. Kind regards, Bronwyn More

Excellent stop over when visiting southern Flinders Ranges. We had a very quiet and comfortable stay in a very well appointed on-site cabin for three nights in early October. The park is very well run with great facilities including communal barbeque. Very friendly and helpful hosts also. Highly recommended! Margaret and Damian Y.

Hi Margaret & Damian Thanks kindly for your review - we're happy you enjoyed your stay. Although it's much quieter for us than it was in early October, we've been keeping ourselves busy in the park and have been away from the office. Luckily the weather hasn't been too hot for painting! It was lovely having you stay with us... More

I stayed two nights at the Quorn Caravan Park in one of their well set up on-site units. It was well set up with everything you need to cook and feel comfortable plus TV and good heating too. Having return visitors is one of the joys of our jobs. It was lovely to see you, along with Anne and Brenda. :D We have a soft spot for Anne, being a former hospitality/tourism person in the Flinders Ranges - it's like being comrades. Great get-away for a few nights. We enjoyed the peaceful surrounds, the tall gums and the natural setting. Clean and neat amenities. Friendly area-knowlable management. A good base for Hawker, Wilmington and areas. If traveling further north a pleasant, relaxing destination.

We appreciate you taking the time to review our park Quorn Caravan Park is an ideal base for exploring the Flinders Ranges - central to Port Augusta, Wilmington, Hawker and Wilpena Pound and the Flinders Ranges National Park.
