Went here for lunch. $13 for a massive snitzel inc whichever gravey you want and salad bar and ice cream. Food was pretty good. Very comfortable seating outside watching the world go by. Only bad thing was that they allow smoking in the eating area outside which i thought was illegal if not just bad for the people who are... More

Four mates travelled across Australia on motorcycles, staying at various roadhouse, caravan parks cabins and this establishment. For an all round stay where the food is excellent, beer cold and well priced, plus clean, secure and cheap accommodation, you can't go wrong. Staff were refreshingly polite and genuine in their interactions, which put a smile on my face. Hotel is... More

We were placed in a room to the side of the building. The rooms there are far older than the those to the (newer) front of the building. Accordingly, the room felt very dated and was run down particularly with respect to the bathroom. The bed was clean. However, the noisy street below prevents a good night sleep.

We booked late on Saturday night and were surprised to get a table. The staff were friendly, meals superb, large and filling. We enjoyed our dinner so much we went back to try the breakfast menu before leaving Pt Lincoln the next morning. Highly recommended.

We had 3 adults and a one-year old for dinner in the bistro on a Friday night. High chairs were readily available and the staff were friendly. The Bistro was not busy and, watching later arrivals get their meals before us convinced us our order had been lost. On checking we were assured the order wasn't lost, it arrived 15... More

We went here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was busy as one would expect. A little noisy with the open plan and a number of children hence, family friendly, but otherwise OK. We ordered the seafood that was very good with chips served up in a metal basket. The salad bar was somewhat limited and we passed... More

This is your classic early 1900's Aussie hotel, refurbished and with a balcony. It is in a prominent downtown position and on the promenade of Boston Bay which all together gives it a good aspect and attractive location. It is huge inside with several bars, one with a terrace, large bistro and bar area, restaurant and the inevitable pokies room.... More

And very little in the way of vegetarian offerings. Great views over Boston Bay and friendly staff. We were in town for the annual Tunarama and as a matter of convenience ate in the Grand Tasman Hotel. Good coffee and Bulmers original Cider by the bottle. We will be back.

Stayed here over the New Year for three nights and whilst it is a little old the rooms were newly painted and had new air conditioners. We had a delux room so we had a separate room with a sofa, table and fridge etc. As we had a baby we were able to set the portable cot up here which... More

This hotel offers budget accommodation right on the beach front. Please note that it is above a pub so weekends are noisy. We were there for two nights on a Sunday and Monday and it wasn't noisy at all. Food at the restaurant is your typical pub meal and very yummy. Room has foxtel and free wifi and a laundry... More
