Nice location but only if you have a car. We were visiting family and were loaned a car otherwise it's a long way to town. The view from our apartment of the Marina was beautiful. The apartment was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I received a free coffee voucher for each day of my visit and they do... More

Hi Natalie J, Thank you for your review, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay. I just wanted to make it clear to prospective guests that we are approximately 3km from the CBD, that the Airport is approx.10 kms from the CBD and it takes around 10 minutes to drive from one side of town to the other. Thank... More

Stayed here one night before joining a shark expedition. Its proximity to the marina very handy and the bar is the meeting point for the expedition so nice and easy. Rooms are fairly basic, clean but not outstanding. Seem to be getting old. Staff are neither here nor there, some smile, some don't, none are all that interested. Breakfast is... More

The room we were allocated was quite spacious with a lounge area with kitchen area off and the bedroom had a big comfy bed and plenty of wardrobe space. We were in a separate building from the hotel which had a restaurant and bar. We enjoyed breakfast on the first morning but on the second morning had great difficulty getting... More

We arrived mid Saturday afternoon and found our suite to be spotlessly clean, very well appointed and surprisingly large. After a long 7 hour drive, we were ready for a coffee. Kettle on, instant coffee in cups, but no electric power. Reception advised kettle had failed so a new one brought around immediately. Filled with water and switched on. same... More

All round it was an awesome 2 night stay. Friendly service from arrival to departure. The room was very big and very clean and comfortable. The spa was a nice way to unwind after walking all day too. The main part of the hotel has are spectacular views of the marina, however most apartments including ours do not face the... More

Had the pleasure of staying here last night. Staff were very friendly/helpful. Organised a very early check in for us as we had all our luggage with us (got there around 10:30 am) and when we got to the building and realised we had to go up a flight of stairs with a pram another staff member rang up to... The apartments are always well maintained and clean. No complaints regarding the accommodation. The apartments are across the carpark from the hotel, far enough so that the noise is not a problem. The service in the "restaurant" is always friendly but as with other reviews, some extra training would be a plus and would make this hotel a clear standout.... More

We stayed at the Marina Hotel on both ends of our Great White excursion with Rodney Fox. It's located right on the Marina, and within a 2 minute walk to the boat we were on for 4 nights. The location is perfect, and beautiful for access to the boat. The hotel is about 5 minutes away from the main part... More

Hotel is a fairway from town centre ($14 taxi fare one way) but has a great bistro with large selection of meals. Indoor and... More

have just spent 4 nights there on the waterfront apartments....... had a 3 bedroom that sleeps 6 with all nick nacks for cooking etc available........ VERY quiet area with magnificent views (room 6)......would be fine with 4 adults, however, find it difficult to imagine 6 adults fitting in with 2x2 seater lounge and a table suitable for 4 adults.......in my...
