its hard to beat a location like this in a smallish town. No wifi in the room which was a disappointment but the room was well appointed. Lounge was comfortable & we were able to get on Internet there for an extended period. We are traveling around Oz for 10 weeks and this was a good choice for this town.

The Marina Hotel offers apartments and suites as accommodation options. I had a suite for one night and it was surprisingly spacious and contained everything I needed for breakfast. Early morning tends to be noisy in the corridors as people depart for the day but I always travel with ear plugs. Would be great to include some drinks in the... More

Stayed at the Marina Hotel Apartments in November 2014. The apartment was clean, spacious and the bed was comfortable. Check-in and check-out were fast and hassle-free. The location of the apartments are perfect for those participating in any of the "sea" activities in Port Lincoln such as shark cage diving, fishing or swim with the tuna as it is right... More

We choose this hotel as it was the embarkment point for my husbands Rodney Fox shark dive. It seems that is the main reason a lot of people stay here. Plus points.... Right on the marina, you can directly overlook the canals and the beautiful houses that are built alongside it. Also close to the Port Lincoln swimming pool centre,... More

Stayed two nights as a base to explore the lower Eyre Peninsula. Room was larger than usual with a separate bedroom area and had a microwave as well as the normal kettle (though no toaster which would have been useful). The room was also supposed to have had a DVD player but it was missing and not replaced during our... More

Would recommend this hotel. Reception staff were excellent, room was large and clean, although taps leaking was a bit offputting. Bit of a trek to the room. The restaurant was fantastic, as were the staff. Great location for shark and sea lion diving trips. Definitely would stay there again

Beautifully located right on the marina, perfect for early starts for shark diving/fishing etc. driving distance to the town but the location is so good it doesn't matter so long as you have transport. We were an extended family group of 7 staying over 4 rooms (suites) All were clean and comfortable. The restaurant suited us perfectly with a varied... More

We stopped here for a couple of hours to have a drink and some dinner before getting abord a liverboard. We ordered a green salad which was topped with parmesan and shaved almonds! Never had that combination before. We also had a pizza, the base of which seemed to be made with "Tip Top" whit bread slices with the crust... More

Hi Wilberwreckage, I'm sorry you found our food 'weird'. I can assure you that our pizza base are made from pizza dough fresh daily and is of the highest quality. Our green salad at the moment consists of mixed fresh greens, Spanish onion, tomato, shaved parmesan & toasted almonds topped with a honey mustard dressing. We do also offer a... More

Very bare essentials in the kitchen, single beds are very narrow, overall it was average HOWEVER it was very close to the marina which was the purpose of our stay (shark diving, tuna feeding and sea lions). All those activities were freaking AWESOME!!! Go with Calypso... they're the best. This hotel is good because its so close, but its nothing... More
