On my way to Marree (see my separate review), I stayed one night at the Peterborough Motel on the 12th April, 2015. My allocated room (#3) was surprisingly large and had everything where it should be to facilitate a comfortable stay. Host Richard Hage was very friendly and helpful, and it became evident from the start that motorbikes are welcome... More

Located just off the main street, this is a simple but quite adequate little property. Management were friendly and helpful and the room was simple and in good repair. Hotels and cafes nearby and VIC just across the road so quite convenient.

The rooms are large and very well decorated. We arrived Christmas Eve and the proprietor cooked us breakfast on Christmas morning, despite us being the only guests. He also gave us fruit from his excellent garden. He was also very helpful with advice about shops, restaurants etc in the town. The hotel was a pleasant surprise.

It's in the Budget chain and quite inexpensive, and certainly not new. But we were very impressed by the facilities for the price and location. It was off the main road just a little, and was certainly quiet (not that it's a busy noisy highway anyway). It was an easy walk to a variety of eateries and a pleasant little... More

We overnight-ed here after a stay in the Flinders ranges on our way South to the Barossa. Motel was basic but comfortable. The Motel also offers the benefit of a well fitted out camp kitchen with everything you require to cook a meal. It also has a pool. This was the cheapest accommodation in our 4 weeks in South Australia

Stayed here for one night during a trip around the mid north. New owner Rick very helpful. Rooms have every thing you need and beds comfortable. Close to shops and hotels. There is a camp kitchen with everything you need. Reasonably priced at $98.00.

Stayed here for an overnight stop between Wilpena Pound and Broken Hill. New owners very friendly and accommodating. This is a good value budget motel and the new owner intends to upgrade rooms, which needs doing. Room a good size and very clean and it was nice and quiet. Owner recommended where to go for dinner.

We stayed here overnight after travelling on the Pichi Richi Railway at Quorn. The room was quite large with a queen bed and 2 seater lounge. The shower was adequate and the room was clean and tidy. Although it is an older style motel at $98 per night it was value for money. It is set back from the main... More

Was a nostalgic stop over having stayed here some 10 years ago. We received a friendly welcome and they booked us into the Light show at Steam town and made several suggestions about our evening meal including the charge back facilities available. The room was clean, comfortable and very quiet. Certainly recommended.
