Great atmosphere, close to all the great wineries and Paul the host was amazing, even going to the effort of dropping us off in town. Highly recommended, really loved waking up to the bright sun over the autumn vines and the beautiful creek at the back door ..... only regret is we didnt book a longer stay :)

This is a wonderful old cottage that has been tastefully restored. It is also probably the best appointed B&B of 10 or more that my wife and I have stayed at and is in a wonderful location nestled among the vines. It also had a very generous provision for breakfast and snacks. However I found the bed in the main... More

Hi Carl, Thank you for your review and feedback. We are glad you enjoyed the cottage, the location and the generous provisions but think that a 3 out of 5 rating is a bit mean. Your comment about the bed just reinforces that it is impossible to please everyone. We spent a lot of time researching mattresses before we settled... More

Charming & well catered, clean, comfortably furnished & positioned in a beautiful area for romance or relaxing - or both! Would highly recommend this lovely cottage for a weekend retreat. The owners have done a tremendous job restoring a lovely old building into a cozy & delightful cottage

This heritage listed accommodation more than met our expectations. Set amongst glorious vineyards in the vale, the pug cottage was an appealing blend of tasteful restoration, furnishing and modern amenity. A grand old peppercorn tree and gorgeous creek setting made for a secluded romantic getaway. The cottage was immaculate in presentation with crisp white linen, polished silver and scrumptious brekkie... More

Great place to stay while visiting the wineries of the region. Well appointed and very comfortable. A simple continental breakfast was left for us, but was expecting eggs and bacon etc as others had commented on. Lots of bugs in the renovated cottage and needs some screen doors! Great place to stay, perfect location while visiting all that Mclaren Vale... More

Thank you very much for your feedback and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay in McLaren Vale. Your comment about the breakfast provisions implies that we did not deliver to expectations. This is very unfair. The quote provided by email was for the discounted mid week rate that clearly stated that it included “provisions for light breakfasts”. Provisions... More

Set in amongst the vines, this comfortable cottage was a delight to experience. Paul's careful restoration has done it proud. We were sharing our love of McLaren Vale wines and cuisine with a dear friend from Brisbane. The "icing on the cake" was to return to the serenity of Peppermint Farm settle on the couch and enjoy another glass of... More

We had a fantastic stay at peppermint farm - it was so peaceful and it was so lovely to wake up amongst the vines. The cottage is great - everything we could possibly desire and one of the most generous breakfast/snack provisions I've ever had! The Brekky supplies came in handy as a late dinner after a huge lunch at... More

This cottage is beautiful. It has been brilliantly restored and maintained. Provisions were ample and every possible need was fulfilled. We had cold nights the the fire was really appreciated. This cottage is situated perfectly. Five minutes from town but set in a working vineyard. Close to literally hundreds of quality wine makers. Definitely recommend this for a great McLaren... More

We loved Peppermint Farm - comfy bed, good cooking facilities and open fire. We especially enjoyed being able to sit out in the garden enjoying the afternoon sun and a glass of wine. Very generous breakfast supplies provided as well.

This pretty little cottage provides all the amenities you need for a great stay. Simple but nice breakfast with juices, coffee, tea and bread provided. All in all it makes a very comfortable stay - warm beds, quiet ambience. Would be great if slippers were provided during winter minds brrrrrrr
