Great park.. Walking track 5 mins to town where everything you need is available. Reasonably priced too. Staff friendly. Amenities clean. Weekends can be very busy, but quiet at 11pm. Enjoyed our stay here!

Yep, this is a pick spot to stay. Wonderful lawns to camp on, close to the town, pleasant staff, friendly campers. We had an ensuite powered site and would return here again. We came to watch the TDU, and we were not disappointed. The only problem to keep in mind, is the capricious South Australian weather - extremely hot or... More

This park has a nice ambience as soon as you drive up the entrance into the park. The staff are all obliging. The grounds are kept in pristine condition at all time and the amenities are immaculate. We stayed there for 7 days before Christmas and loved it that much we went back after new year and stayed four nights... More

From the moment you drive down the sweeping entry road along grapevines the ambience of this haven captivates. Lovely check in staff further extend this welcome and builds the excitement which never disappoints. The bonus of a spacious site with easy entry overlooking yet more grapevines on glorious lush green grass without rear neighbours further enhances the good feelings. Add... More

Stayed here with friends for a 70th birthday weekend. The park is well kept with good lawn areas for caravan or tent sites. We had a ensuite which was nice so that we didnt have to use the communal facilities. Its a easy walk into town from the park and its close to the shiraz walking/bike trail. The regins wineries... Just purchased a van, and so has my sister in law and her hubby. Thought we'd do a shake down weekend at the park. The park was in excellent condition and when we arrived it was after business hours. Our entry info was pinned on the notice board with all info needed. The powered site was fully grassed and very... More

A perfect place to relax, close to Adelaide and wineries, cafes, hotels and restaurants. We stayed for 8 days with our caravan with 8 of our friends. We visited The Willunga markets on the Saturday. I personally walked a total of 14km to and from McLaren Vale Caravan Park. We visited several wineries and cafes.

Booked a "Deluxe" Cabin to sleep 5 Adults, On arrival found out that "Deluxe" has a whole new meaning. Blankets on main bed very thin, not my idea of a blanket. Cabin very small and pokey and in need of a lot of T.L.C. have been in cheaper cabins that were much more spacious with blankets, pillows and towels provided... More

Pretty good park with decent facilities. Nice location, walking distance to town centre and not far from wineries or even a short drive to the beach. Was really busy over the long weekend which meant the bathrooms got pretty trashed by 9am. The ensuite we booked had a strong sewerage smell, so we had to leave the window open the... More
