Three of us went for the flathead special, it was over priced and overlooked, fish must have been frozen as it was strong in flavour and chewy texture. We all left our meals. Shame as service was good and the atmosphere was cozy. Probably wouldn't go back

Not a lot of choice on the menu, but what we had was very good. I chose the seafood platter (about $26), something I rarely pick, but I enjoyed it. The salt and pepper squid, crumbed prawns, scallops and fish were cooked beautifully. Didn't even venture to the salad bar. Couldn't eat more than my plate full of seafood.

Went here for lunch on the 15.4.15 had to find a staff member to ask where to be seated when we walked in. Ordered the chicken Kiev with vegetables but was then told "you get the veggies out the baymaire". All this wouldn't of been a problem to me if the staff member I dealt with had a smile on... More

We had lunch today on a busy Easter Sunday. Ordered for table our of five and just over 10 minutes later the food arrived! Steaks $26.90 and $29.90, Schnitzel $19.90, a good selection at the salad bar, but thought that only 3 hot vegetable selections could have been better. All the food was excellent and service was impeccable. Only negative,... More

Had a lovely lunch at this hotel. The meal arrived very quickly but the service was average. Staff were no overly friendly, but not unpleasant, just average. Meal sizes were quite large so good value for money, however the salad bar was also just average. Great location at the end of the main street in Goolwa so we sat outside... More

The food at the Corio Hotel tasted great but I thought the prices where a bit steep for pub food. The chicken Snittie was an extra large serving so I wasn't able to eat it all, which was a shame because it was tasty. My husband had the butterfish which he said tasted great. He was smart and didn't go... More

Busy spot to eat, especially in school holidays or long weekends when they sometimes have two sittings to cater for everyone so may have to book if planning on going at one of these times. Food has always been fresh and tasty - Salt and pepper squid, parmigianas and chicken kievs high on list of favorites. Due to the high... More
