The attention to detail is second to none - lots of towels, great bathroom, quality amenities and some wine to enjoy on the varandah over a BBQ and kangaroo viewing. The best part of these villas is the skylight above the bed so you can look at the stars until you fall asleep (or close it if you dont want... More

The eco villas are quite brilliant - quiet and away from the rush of the world with great veranda views. The setting is also superb with walking and motor trails all around. Staff were brilliant at giving advice. The only downsides were that the telecoms were very poor and the internet did not work at all (some people would love... More

The villas are exceptional and sitting on the veranda and enjoying a beautiful sunset is unforgettable. Even I was the only one booked on a day tour, Toni took me around and answered all the question I had and luckily we encountered a lot of the big red kangaroos. The flight, also on my own, over Wilpena Pound was perfect... More

We stayed for three nights in early March, in one of the holiday cabins. Note that the holiday cabins are NOT the same as the Eco-Villas. While the Eco Villas look lovely, they were way beyond our budget. The holiday cabin was nicely equipped, and had a new porch/patio which was a bonus. Amazing scenery everywhere, great well marked walks/hikes... More

Stayed here in march for 3 nights in The cabins, not too hot and the units were fine, well kitted out, and clean. The deck outside was a great place to sit and there are laundry facilities etc with washing line and pegs out the back for everyone's use. Did a half day tour to brachina gorge which was spectacular... More

A lovely location, no mobile phone and limited internet contact allowing total relaxation. Cabin was clean and well appointed apart from seating. A sofa instead of a single bed when there are only two people would have been better.

We spent 5 nights in a holiday unit. The weather was quite hot, but we expected that for February. The units were clean and comfortable. The new deck and outdoor furniture is a bonus. We spent a lot of thine out there in the evening. All of the staff were very helpfully. We were greeted well on arrival and were... More

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit with friends. These units are self contained and very hygienically maintained. Being in the middle of the Ranges, you are not expected to stay indoors at all. However, when we came back tired in the evening, though there was zero cell coverage, we felt like we were back home. The check in and... More

Stayed for four nights in a single bedroom Eco Villa in December 2013. It was a magical experience. Our villa was very spacious and extremely comfortable with a long balcony on which we spent a lot of our time relaxing and just enjoying the most amazing views of the mountains all around. The villa comes equipped with everything you might... More

We stayed in the holiday units at Rawnsley, and the accommodations were very basic. The wonderful feature of this place though is the relatively secluded hiking that is available around the property. It was actually quite wonderful to hike up the arid outer side of Wilpena Pound, only to go in and see how relatively lush the Pound is on... More
