These villas are fantastic. Everything you could possibly want in a room they have it. Incredibly spacious with great views. Beds are so comfy! Huge kitchen and a dressing room! The roof winds back so you can lay in bed and watch the stars. Despite the rooms being a 5star standard the resort itself is a bit more basic (it's... More

We stayed two nights in the Redgum Eco villa November 17,18th, very lucky with the weather for the time of year, not too hot. The villas have everything you need and are wonderfully appointed, air-con via floor vents which is a nice change from the usual draft that most hotel room air-cons produce, kitchen has all the basic equipment you... Thank you for the detailed comments. Fully endorse everything for say - especially the bit about getting hungry and thirsty when bushwalking. Carmans Muesli bars and cool water are the answer. More

Very convenient for a visit at the Flinders Ranges, which we absolutely consider as a highlight of our Australian trip. We stayed in cabin nr. 14. Clean, spacious, small kitchen, good bed and pillows. Big deck outside, nice! Downside: no free WIFI. And the restaurant is expensive and we think a bistro-kind of restaurant would suit this place better than... More

Pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay in the Flinders Ranges. We are looking into systems for free wifi, but we currently have restricted capacity on the Telstra Wireless Network. More

I have often been told that the Flinders Ranges are quite similar to the SW of United States. It is probably the Native Pines that you find here that compare with the Pinyon Pines of the South West. More

The Eco villas are very luxurious - even a skylight to see the stars at night. Well equipped including a coffee machine with coffee and breakfast supplied. The restaurant is ok - nothing special so cook your own. The nearby park and Wilpena pound is worth a visit. The only disappointment was the pool which is located at the nearby... More

I stayed 3 nights in the Redgum villa which enjoys views of the bush sunsets to the West. The villas claim eco credentials which I didn't investigate but they are clearly built to harmonise beautifully with the Flinders Ranges landscape near Wilpena Pound. They are architecturally designed using natural materials. There is plenty of space, comfortable furniture and a good... More

Pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay and that the staff were friendly and helpful. Andrew and Elizabeth have definitely lifted the standard of meals at the Woolshed and I think that the prices compare well with similar standard in Adelaide. More

Visiting relatives from the UK treated us to a 3 night stay here and it was a stunningly beautiful experience. The villa was clean and very well equipped (perhaps this feature could be detailed on the website - we brought more than we needed) and the villas are well separated so there is complete peace in the surroundings, with amazing... Wonderful review. Pleased that Dan and Ryan were informative and helpful. They are both quite new to Rawnsley but have picked things up quickly and shown good enthusiasm for the job. More

Eco villas are very comfortable, fully equipped and private. If you're with optus you'll need to find a local elevated ground to get reception, but maybe being disconnected adds to the experience. There is a landline. And be prepared to cook as the local fare is somewhat ordinary. Spent a great week and would recommend it highly.

We had the eco cabin for 3 nights, and found it to be extremely comfortable and had everything you would need. Not cheap (for us) but for that special occasion worth doing. Bed was comfortable and the sliding roof, so you can see the stars at night was a bonus. You will also receive a $10.00 data card with the... More
