We were 2 couples and decided to stay in one of the holiday villas, not the eco villas, deciding not to stretch the budget as were on a 6 week trip. No regrets the villas were perfectly comfortable us and pricing was very good value. Really enjoyed using the BBQ's in the evening and watching the wildlife wander and fly... More

We stayed in a cabin which was quite spacious, clean and has a great verandah with views of the ranges. Cheaper than Wilpena Pound, although Wilpena is more up market but doesn't have the views. The restaurant "The Woolshed" was outstanding and quite surprising.

The trip up to Rawnsley fully justified the 900km return drive from Adelaide. The owners of this privately run estate have gone to considerable trouble to make this a real experience. The villas are superbly equipped, and have features such as remotely controlled skylights to view the stars from your bed. On arrival, we found a kangaroo under our balcony,... More

We were lucky enough to have four nights at this place, which incorporates a camping and caravan park, holiday cottages and eco lodges. The three sections are all completely separate so it's easy to get a sense of space wherever you stay. We had eco villa number 3 with a wooden deck on two sides, overlooking Wilpena Pound and the... That says it all! Spent 4 days here enjoying bbqs on the terrace. An occasional roo would bound in front of the cabin. Only complaint was the limit on free wifi- come on guys - it should be free 24/7!

Great to know that you enjoyed your stay and gave everything a 5-star rating. WiFi is on a card system due to limited capacity on the Telstra wireless signal. More

Nice to be outside of the National Park with easy access by road into the Wilpena Pound and surrounding areas. Accommodation was spacious, clean and basic breakfast ingredients supplied. We enjoyed a three night stay at the recommendation of friends in Adelaide. One bathroom between four people for $600 per night self catering we thought was expensive - although this... More

Please to know that you enjoyed your say and that the day tour was a highlight. The Holiday Units have only one bathroom, the 2br Ecovillas and Homestead have two bathrooms. More

Beautiful Eco villas!! I stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. Everything was perfect. Exceptionally well fitted. Stunning view of Wilpena Pound. Kangaroos , birds around the extensive deck. Excellent location for discovering the Wilpend Pound Area!! The restaurant The Woodshed has delicious food. The lamb chops I had were the best I have tasted anywhere in the world. Far surpasses... even though it was only one night, the place was spotless, well fitted out to enable us to have breakfast. We went to the Woolshed restaurant which was excellent food and service , reasonable prices with a great view. We saw the emu and chicks and many birds in the morning. Good place to stay and very close for the... More

My husband and I shared our villa with an elderly english travelling companion during our amazing trip from Sydney to the Flinders Ranges and back. A Rawnsley Park eco villa was our indulgence for three nights and we were very thrilled on arrival to find the villa in one of the best positions facing the bluff - we loved everything... More

Thank you for your review. There is an electrically operated canvas Roman Blind above the bed that is designed to provide privacy for each bedroom (but you cannot watch the stars while this is closed) More

My wife and I stayed here this past weekend to celebrate our 27th Wedding Anniversary. I will say right up front that the villas were everything we hoped they would be. Clean, well appointed, with stunning views and very well thought out. The villas have everything you want in accommodation and are well positioned amongst the Southern Cyprus Pines common... More
