Great secluded luxury accommodation, well worth the price. Good selection of continental breakfast provisions provided. Skylight is unique, particularly to see the stars at night. We took a half hour plane ride which gave you a good overall view of the area.

We stayed for 3 nights in the cabin accommodation and our final fourth night in an Eco Villa. The cabins were excellent, warm and well equipped and we were very comfortable. The villa was 'WOW' and exceeded all expectations. The privacy and comfort were beyond anywhere we have stayed in the world; with every detail well thought out. There was... More

We had a 2 night SA shorts trip on Sunday and Monday......as soon as we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by the warm and efficient welcome and check in at reception! We had a one bedroom Eco villa for the 2 nights and boy we were so happy!! Breakfast goodies were well stocked and even had fresh eggs from the... More

We have been to the Flinders Ranges several times now and think this is one of the greatest places we have stayed at, forget the price, who cares these villas are amazing, each villa is nicely secluded and the views from the rooms are superb. Love the layout of the villa, great facilities and the continental breakfast is more than... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here as a group of four girl friends. A stunning area, lots of wildlife, kangaroos, echidnas, emus, tons of birds. We walked up St Mary's Peak which is certainly a strenuous walk as they say, but well worth the climb. We rented a three bed park home for $450 for the weekend. It was clean, but... More

This is truly a marvel to find in the middle of the South Australian Outback. The villas are well equipped and spotlessly clean. The Rawnsley Park village is about 20 minutes from the Wilpena Pound resort, from where you may catch the shuttle bus to the Wilpena Pound lookout. Water is always a problem in the Outback, but there was... More

Thank you for the wonderful comments. We are lucky to have good supply of good quality underground water. This is partly due to the aquifer recharge process that we use. We also use a number of water saving measures as we are fully aware that we live in an arid environment. More

Eco villa was amazing, beautiful view, great verandah, great shower, very cosy, wonderful to be able to look at the stars while you sleep, everything you need for a great stay. Felt like you were miles from everything (That was partly as there was no phone reception ..... Which is great if you want a break, not so much if... More

Thank you for the detailed review. We have some new staff that I know are trying to deliver to customer expectations. We are addressing the issue and aim to get reviews of 4.5 - 5.0, anything less is not acceptable. More

Spent 2 nights in 2 bedrm unit. Excellent location. Walked to top of Rawnsley Bluff, watched flocks of emus drinking at the dam, many birds, roos, sunset over Elder Range and sunrise over ABC Range etc. Great facilities for the price. Easy drive to Wilpena Pound.

Had an absolutely fabulous stay in the Homestead which though not cheap was well worth every penny. The location is amazing with stunning views of Wilpena Pound. The property itself was beautifully finished and really nicely kept. The daily re-stocking in our fridge of really high quality food for breakfast was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Thanks for a... More

Thank you for the great comments. The Homestead has a slightly different angle to Wilpena Pound from the rest of the resort. More
