Once you park the car and venture down the path and across the bridge over the creek you feel like you are a world away from the hassles of everyday life, even though we were a mere 20-25 minutes from home. Arriving on one of the coldest days of winter it was lovely to cross the bridge and open the... More

Thank you for your fabulous review. You certainly had a cold weekend during your stay but the cosy wood fire is always lovely in the hills. We are glad you enjoyed your stay enough to return. We often have guests return during different seasons, just to experience the difference. Kind regards Deni. More

The cottage is set alongside a bubbling brook in a gorgeous green garden. The decor is quaint, the bed super comfortable and luxurious and the wood combustion heater so cosy and romantic. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

Perfect place to wind down and just relax.Much wildlife to see and hear. The whole Cottage is set up to have everything at your comfort. Will be returning again and have passed on this B&B to many family and friends to also enjoy. One of the best B&B we have stayed in.

You won't regret booking a getaway here. One of the most serene locations in SA, particularly in Autumn it was purely magical. Couldn't think of many better places for a couple to spend a weekend tucked away in this cosy little cottage. And it's only a short stroll (through some of the most stunning scenery in all of the Hills)... More

We had two nights at this delightful and peaceful B&B and wished we could stay longer. The cosy and inviting cottage is located away from the road just across a small creek, with comfortable living/kitchen area, bedroom with lovely comfortable bed and nice bathroom with room for our stuff. Good provisions for breakfast. After a tough day of touring the... More

We were lucky enough to be gifted two nights at this wonderful B&B (I think we owe someone big time!) The cottage is so beautiful and cozy, you can tell it was put together with a lot of love and thought. It's not really a typical B&B, the cottage is located away from the main property and is accessed via... More

Our trip to Aldgate Valley Bed and Breakfast was a spontaneous decision, and one that I am incredibly grateful we made! The location is absolutely divine, and I was enchanted the moment I crossed the bridge over the creek to reach the picturesque cottage that Deni and Max have worked so hard to create for travellers. Yummy breakfasts accompanied by... More

Sometimes Laura spontaneous decisions are the best ones. You had splendid weather during your stay. ( I did notice you on the deck one day reading in the rocking chair in the sun and did feel a tad jealous! ) I am glad you enjoyed our visiting creatures great and small. All the best Deni More

Wow! This is seriously all you could ask for in a peaceful getaway. The cottage is incredibly cozy and set in the perfect place. You are surrounded by nature and will see plenty of beautiful birds. It was hard to leave the cottage because of how at peace we felt. Definitely a restorative place to be AND an excellent launch... More

Thanks for your review Josh. This helps other travellers plan the perfect stay. You have explained how we are secluded in a quiet spot of the Adelaide Hills, but not far away from Adelaide CBD. All the best. Kind regards Deni More

If you are looking for a quite weekend away with your partner - this is the place to go! Just grab a good book and relax at this amazing little place. Plenty of places to go only a short ride away (Hahndorf, wineries, lookouts etc). Will recommend further!

While enjoying a delicious morning coffee here at Aldgate Valley B&B, I'm brainstorming desperately for some sort of crazy scheme that might allow me to stay here forever. There's a babbling creek passing just beneath the patio where I'm enjoying watching the lorikeets and finches hop around the tranquil gardens. Everything has been thought of by the owners, and then... More
