My partner and I went on a roadtrip last October through the great Ocean road to Adelaide. A little small for a room without a proper mini-kitchen area and no microwave. Apart from that, the place was decorated nicely. Food can be microwaved upon asking at the reception. Free internet and wireless internet for guests. more

Just returned from the Atherton Tableland where we stayed at Kookaburra Lodge at Yungaburra. The lodge is motel style in architecture and PRICE but then all comparisons cease. Small but cosy with many little touches that give it a B & B feel. Nice little seating area outside your unit with loads of hanging plants. Free internet in the office.... more

Yungaburra is a lovely little town in the heart of the Atherton Tablelands, and an excellent centre to explore the whole area. We stayed at the Kookaburra Lodge for just one night, but would have happily stayed longer. We stayed here for one night in mid February. It's not the ritz, but the rooms are adeqauetely furnished with TV, fridge, tea and coffee maker with fresh milk; all have en suite facilities with the best toiletries we found in our three weeks in Australia, including those at some 5 star places and they are spotlessly clean.The Lodge is... more
