The most enjoyable and peaceful few days we have had in a long time. The absolute solitude in the bush surrounds with the regular visits from paddimelons, tree kangaroos, possums and scrub turkeys. Or a short drive into yungaburra, malanda or Atherton to visit some of the quaint coffe shops and restaraunts. Not to mention the lovely fresh muffins and... More

A picture says a thousand words so I don't think I need to describe the amazing views. Arrived and were greeted by Brian who showed us around all the views from the reception area and then took us down to our treehouse. We were given a welcome basket of muffins/scones/jam/cream, binoculars and socks which was a nice touch. Full cooked... More

Mt Quincan We stayed for 4 nights, but wish it was much longer. The cabins were comfortable and pleasant. What we received was exactly as was described in the website. The welcome basket was delightful, with booties to keep us warm in the cold and binoculars to help us spot some wildlife. Some highlights were fresh flower on our arrival... More

Stayed here for 2 nights for a mini honeymoon and was not disappointed. The Treehouse was nice, clean and very private. The Spa bath was a lovely addition and was used daily. Fireplace was also great but it seemed to take a little while to get going. Breakfast was great and the muffins on arrival were very tasty. Loved the... More

Wow! Lovely setting, and a comfortable spacious living area. We requested a chalet in the forest (kumala) to maximise our chance; f seek g the tree kangaroos. This did not disappoint as we were visited by them on our last morning and very close. If you like wildlife thus; late is for you. We had micro bats living under the... More

This was our second visit to this beautiful place and we were met with a thank you bottle of wine on arrival which was a lovely surprise. This time we were in Ribbon Wood which overlooked the crater. It was very peaceful and quiet among the trees and you were not aware of any person anywhere or any man made... More

Mt Quincan Crater Retreat is a vary special place for a relaxing getaway. We just spent our Anniversary there and it was so good. All the little extras are a lovely touch. It's very peaceful and romantic. The wildlife is also very cute, with lots of visitors to your veranda. We had a lovely few days snuggled up on the... More

What a wonderful way to start our honeymoon. Hanging out in our cosy tree top cabin listening to the birds and the quiet... Ahhhh the serenity!! Thanks so much for making our time so effortless and relaxing. The roses and chocolates were such a lovely touch and our relaxing massage treatments were amazing! We will be back without a doubt!!

We had a lovely 2 night stay, to have some down time after a very busy week in Cairns for the Cairns Ironman. We had such a relaxing time and everything was perfect! Kerry and Barb made sure our stay was a 10 out of 10!!! We couldn't be more grateful for the wonderful time we had. Thank you for... More

We visited Mt Quincan Crater Retreat after thoroughly researching other luxury self contained accommodation in the tablelands. And we are SO glad we decided on Mt Quincan. The finish of the unit was amazing. We had built a Chris Van Dyke home in the hills above Cairns several years before and his designs for Mt Quincan reflected his tropical timber... More
