Just like a Jules Verne novel - life is protected from the outside by the crater rim. Lots of birds (79 over 4 days) and sightings of 5 different tree kangaroos. The 6 tree houses are beautifully built and well separated so you feel as if it is all yours. The units are FULLY equipped - there was not one... More

This was our second stay at Mt. Quincan. On our first stay we got engaged so we thought it would be perfect to come back and have our wedding here. We booked a room for ourselves and rooms for both of our parents. We stayed in the White Ceder tree house facing Yungaburra and the view was spectacular! We previously... More

The cabin we stayed in was extremely well appointed with a kitchenette, tv and lounge, a very comfortable bed and a two person spa added to the relaxation. The cabin also had a small balcony with gas barbecue, chairs and table overlooking a beautiful valley. If you did not want to leave the retreat area you could go for long... More

It is pretty expensive. The romantic angle is a little over the top (the spa is right in front of the best window view, it isn't possible to light the room brighter than romantic dim, the beds were extra extra soft, etc) However, it is right in the middle of some very beautiful country. There were Sarus cranes in the... More

My husband and I live In cairns and could only get away from work for one night so we spent amazing Saturday night at mt quincan in treehouse number 2. We travelled from cairns and stopped at the wonderful IGA supermarket in Atherton in the way to buy nibblies and a roast for the BBQ at Mt Quincan so we... More

Hubby and i stayed 2 nights at Mt Quican treehouse, we needed to get away from the busy lifestyle and we certainly did that. I have not relaxed like this for many years, i wish we could have stayed longer! Kerry and Barb were lovely and great genuine people, very helpful :) I refer Mt Quincan to anyone who would... More

Just returned from a 5 night stay at Mt Quincan. Treehouse No4 Kamala was perfect for us as we were seeking a complete recharge of our batteries, total seclusion, some wildlife interaction and pampering delights. We were not disappointed at all. The cabins are well thought out with everything required to make the stay a treat. Spa bath for two,... More

We were after peace, quiet, luxury, relaxing and pampering and Mt Quincan offered just that. There is very little that has not been considered making the stay absolutely effortless. In hindsight I would take advantage of the dinner hampers offered or take something to BBQ with me so that you really do not have to leave your retreat at all... More

Thanks Dennis and Louise for providing superb service during our 3 day escape. Mt Quincan is truly a special place. We loved the zest you have for the property and the wildlife and rainforest that are found in the surrounds are truly amazing especially the tree kangaroos. The recommendation for Flynns restaurant was also great. Look forward to seeing you... More
