The retreat is a ten minute drive from Yungaburra, in the Atherton tablelands. The views are fantastic! The cabins are designed to maximise views over the surrounding farmlands or the Mt Quincan crater. The cabins are fully self contained and beautifully furnished. The warm welcoming and hospitality of the staff throughout our stay made our stay excellent.

From the initial friendly greeting from Bryan to the rainforest music CD playing softly on the stereo as we entered the cabin was a lovely touch, fresh cut roses strategically placed also appreciated, we were then shown around the various parts of the cabin covering everything we needed to know, a well appointed kitchen area had just about everything we... Stayed for 2 nights in August and didn't want to leave! Amazing location with the treehouses positioned perfectly to take in the views, we had a winter stay so had the fire going the whole time which was perfect. The treehouses are a little dated but I think it just adds to the charm, lots of lovely romantic touches are... More

What a lovely surprise! Beautiful location, wonderfully cool and breezy after the sweltering heat and humidity in Cairns. After a very warm welcome we were taken to our cabin overlooking the tablelands. The cabin is everything one would want for a romantic getaway. From the lovely heart shaped rose petals welcoming us at the front door, to beautiful music, fantastic... More

Absolutely loved this place. We'll definitely be back again. Beautiful cabins overlooking the tablelands and adored the outdoor shower. Great walks around the area too. Breakfasts were a real treat as well, nothing forgotten. Thank you so much for your kind hospitality Kerry and Barb.

This was our second visit, the previous being 8 years ago. I am very pleased to say that this stay was equally fantastic and was probably better as this time we took advantage of the self catering packages and ate in. What a location to sit on your balcony, have a few drinks and a meal. The self catering packages... More

My husband took me to Mt Quincan for my birthday. Wonderful ambience. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. We enjoyed a terrific 3 days with daily spas and great views of the Tablelands. Looking forward to another visit. Thoroughly recommend it. Ann & Geoff Townsville

This place is worth the trip. So secluded, Nestled into the craters edge we were overlooking the tablelands and the farms. Just amazing. Completely private. You can't even see the cabins until you walk down your own path. The food provided was brilliant. There is just something about the piece and quiet of nature. We went in winter and we... More

My husband surprised me with a stay in one of the treehouse cabins at Mt.Quincan. The cabin was wonderfully appointed with a king size bed, soaking tub, 2-headed indoor shower with sliding door accessing the outdoor shower, kitchen, lounge area, outdoor patio and swivel fireplace pre-set with kindling. The cabin was totally private. The refrigerator was stocked with ready-to-prepare breakfast... More

Absolutely loved our stay here. The hosts were friendly and helpful. This unique property includes a number of very private pole houses set out along the rim of an extinct volcano. The tree house we stayed in faced into the crater. We were visited by a variety of wildlife, unfortunately though we didn't see a tree kangaroo. From the rose... More
