The room was different from what you saw on the outside ,well stocked fridge chargeable but affordable . Free port in a lovely decanter with very nice glasses . Very hospitable hostess and although the adjoining restaurant was a little formal it was slightly dared but the food was good and reasonably priced . Try Nicks restaurant for a good... More

Youngaburra is a quiet little town on the Atherton Tableland and ideal for touring the area. Eden House was one of the best places we stayed in our 4 week tour of Australia. Here they don't take payment for the room until you arrive. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice big room and bathroom, well appointed and clean. Lots of storage... More

We spent 5 nights here, an ideal base to explore the beautiful & historical surrounding Atherton tablelands. Villa #12, in its peaceful lush garden setting, was very comfortable, well-equipped & quiet, the only criticism a weak wi-fi signal only accessible from the front verandah area. We enjoyed two great dinners at the adjoining restaurant (see separate review), saw several platypus... More

We dined here the first night, the food is quite different, I settled on the prawn dish, the prawns were tiny and served with Strawberries, just did not work. The ambience was excellent and has great potential but you need a more professional chef in there someone who really knows what to do with the fabulous array of local produce,... More

The room was big and very comfortable. The complimentary port was a nice touch. Big spa bath was great. Only negative, breakfast is just continental, we asked for something gluten free for my wife but didn't receive anything. Also, we left our room at about 9am and returned at 2:30 but it hadn't been clean or restocked for breakfast, so... More

Stayed for 2 nights as we were exploring the Tablelands. Peaceful and relaxing surroundings in the lovely village of Yungaburra. The room was spacious and comfortable. Great spa bath. Only downside was the breakfast basket in the room - very average compared to the rest of the hotel. Maybe they could consider providing fresh fruit and juices and pastries?

My family and I stayed here for one night and it was beautiful, peaceful and accommodating. We were full in the morning with our yummy continental breakfast. We also had dinner at the restaurant it took 40+ minutes for our meals to come out and we didn't receive any sides.

We recently broke down on our way to the tablelands. I quickly did an accommodation search and found Eden House. We thought the car would be fixed in a day or so - no two weeks it took. We couldn't believe how lucky we were in the end by chance we had really found Eden our cottage was cosy and... More

Stayed for two nights. Really friendly and helpful staff, even though I booked on lastminute.Booked massage treatment, which was just great. Staff was very honest in saying what they knew about re: massages and switches in room. Lovely energy synergy between Eden House and Mountain Spa. I would definitely stay here again. Lucky Cairns' residents have it on your doorstep.
