We spent over a month staying at Allumbah Cottages, during which time we held our wedding in the gardens. It is a truly beautiful place, inside and out. The 6 cottages are country style, comfortable and spacious, the grounds are just gorgeous, the country themed guest lounge is perfect. Over and above all of this are the owners, Mel &... More

Beautiful maintained cottages and surrounding grounds nice but small choice for breakfast management goes out of their way to please wouldn't really say it was dog friendly as we weren't allowed in communal areas so we couldn't sit outside or enjoy the bbq area

Hi Julie. We were disappointed in your review scores, given the 'doggy rules' were communicated to you prior to arrival... For those out there contemplating... people with dogs are booked into our fenced cottage (so the dog has a safe outdoor area to roam) but our rules are: dogs are not allowed in communal areas, on furniture or bedding, or... These lovely cottages have all you would need. A one-room bed/sitting/kitchenette, a porch looking into the greenery, and a spic-and-span bathroom with a cool, live-edge wood counter. Unfortunately, since we were out exploring all day and into the evening, we didn't have much time to enjoy the lovely surroundings, which include a shared garden with hammock and fountain. Breakfast was... More

My wife and I attended an engagement party nearby and decided to try this establishment due to the reviews. We were not disappointed as the rooms, bed, appointments and setting were all very good. Prices were on par with the surrounding venues and the night we spent was very comfortable. Breakfast was a little light on so we chose to... More

Located on the Tablelands area of North Queensland this property is six separate Cottages at the rear of a Café/Restaurant and Reception area. There is sufficient parking as well as large outdoor areas including BBQ areas. Well kept gardens and a happy Hour most nights from 5-7pm are also an attraction. The cottages are well furnished with well equipped kitchens,... More

Perhaps the most enjoyable thing about this excellent resort is the opportunity to meet other guests and yours hosts over a glass of wine in their happy hour. This is held in a lovely covered outdoor area surrounded by well kept gardens. Wi-Fi is easily available from here as reception in the rooms is poor, and there is a TV... More

Had a great time and well looked after. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating to our requests and the cottages are well set out, private and cosy. Also really enjoyed the happy hour in the gazebo meeting and chatting with other guests. All in all, highly recommended if you are looking for a nice lazy and comfortable place to stay

We stayed at this property last night. It was absolutely wonderful. Spacious cottage and spotlessly clean. Crisp sheets and luxurious bath towels. The hostess Melanie was fantastic. Complimentary wine from 5 - 7 p.m. plus a lovely small breakfast. We would definitely recommend this cute property to travellers wanting a nice comfortable quiet sleep in a great location. Thanks again.... More

We come here to get away from the hustle and bustle. It's so relaxing with the fire, spa bath, and lovely surrounds. We have visited quite a few times now and will not stay anywhere else! Easy stroll to pub and restaurants and now has a cute little cafe which we has some delicious breakfast at on our last visit.
