We loved this caravan park. It did have a few disadvantages, the amenities were small and needed some tlc, and they were a fair walk from most of the sites. The sites were small and difficult to get into and out of. The little shop was great, with a large range of items, the type you usual run out of... More

This place is fantastic for swimming and I would recommend bringing pool noodles/Li-lo for extended relaxing in the cool water. The walking track is also worth it and offers the opportunity to see lizards, bush-turkeys and the like. Awesome swimming in the summer months :).

Our one night extended to five in the delightful campsite. We were able to use site as a base for exploring the many delights of the Atherton Tablelands. Liz the owner was a mine of information on where to go and what to look out for. Her daughter Sandy is a photographer and her work was very evident in the... More

Thanks for your lovely review - so glad you enjoyed our park. If you had only stayed the one night you would have missed seeing all the wild things. All I can say is you now have to come back for one of my Devonshire Teas! We share your love of Barrine and always take our visitors there. We do... More

We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone. A great place to celebrate Christmas as a family. The owners are lovely people who showed us a lot of kindness. A little kindness here, another there, it all adds up to a wonderful place to stay ! Jen

What a tropical paradise! I went on a Saturday and it wasn't as busy as I expected. I mean the lake is huge so plenty of room! But it was still so peaceful even with tourists there. The water is so clear and easy to access. I would recommend taking a float of some sort so you can really take... More

We stayed in the blue cabin (cabin 1) for 1 night, the place was dirty with cobwebs along most of the cornices and corners, above cupboards and general built up grime, the oven hadn't been cleaned in ages, when turned on to heat up a meal it belched clouds of smoke from the all the fat and burnt food on... Our cabins receive a very thorough cleaning after the departure of every guest and we apologise that the oven had been missed. There's really no excuse. When you pointed this out, also the presence of some spiders and the fact it seemed only "superficially clean", Lionel thanked you for letting us know and assured you that he would have the... More

As northerners, we love to explore our own "back yard" and we were so pleased we chose Lake Eacham Tourist Park. It caters for all, with lovely comfy cabins and spacious drive through van sites, surrounded by nature at its best. Bird life is prolific and we loved the wandering ducks and chickens. The lovely Liz was very welcoming and... More

We stayed two nights in the purple cabin, which when we arrived seemed like something straight out of a storybook. The cabin was perfectly clean, beds and bedding comfy and warm. Our two young children fell in love with the triple bunk and declared it the best thing ever, the youngest wanted to change into her pyjamas and go to... More

We stayed overnight here, a perfect location the cabin had everything we needed and had the most comfortable bed i've slept in. Great coffee at the store in the morning too we will definitely be back. What a delight to have chooks foraging around the cabin.

We enjoyed our stay in one of the cabins. Everything provided needed for the stay, friendly management, very reasonable pricing. There is much to see around and we got lots of hints on what not to miss during our visit.
