My Wife and I were in Winton for the Outback Film Festival and stayed here on a Saturday night. Geoff the owner is a born host, and was welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the newly refurbished rooms to the right of the office. Our double room was tastefully decorated, well-equipped, clean, with a large... More

On our way back to Darwin. We have a family of five and the Outback Motor Inn was a perfect place to rest after a full day driving. Geoff was very accommodating and offered us a free upgrade which was much appreciated. Prices are certainly reasonable. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed in the newer rooms to the right of the office. They look like portable buildings from the outside so you don't expect too much but inside they are clean, nicely presented and very comfortable rooms. The shower water flow is strong and very hot, feels quite luxurious after a day in the heat. Everything worked well, air con,... More

We enjoyed our two nights in this motel. We stayed in a new unit after reading the positive reviews on Trip Advisor...they don't look much from the outside but are really clean, neat and comfortable and nice decor on the inside. Air con works really well, bathroom well appointed and a good size and despite lots of warnings in the... More

Often choose to stay here for work when we are in winton. Its a lovely little motel, very quiet, handy to the Tatts hotel for dinner. The rooms are all newly refurbished which the owner has done himself. Cute and fresh new bathrooms, tv with austar. Always clean and i cannot speak highly enough of the motel owner who is... More

My sister and I wondered what to expect when we returned to Winton for the first time in over 50 years!! We stayed at the Outback Motel for 7 days and would go back in a heartbeat...Geoff and his wife were great and nothing was a problem for them. A must have we soon discovered was a/c which was great...the... More

Very happy with our stay in the new units, nothing was too much trouble, it was especially good to have an outside power point @ each unit, so easy to keep the car fridge cold. Close to main street, Eagle Nest Restaurant was a very good quality & great service ! 😃

I stayed here for one night in the heat of summer. The air con was already cranking for me, great touch. The rooms are spacious and well renovated. May not look the flashest on the outside, but inside they are more than comfortable & practical.

I can't remember much about the accommodation to be honest, but the owner / manager was lovely. A large group of us arrived in old, loud, dirty cars and he was so nice. He offered to do all our laundry (washing and drying). It must have taken him HOURS. He also let us park our filthy cars wherever they would... More

Yes, many of the rooms are located in portable buildings but please don't let this deter you from choosing the Outback as a place to stay in Winton. We were hesitant after noting this in the reviews but we found the rooms to be clean and very well equipped - we were very comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay... More
