All you would expect from a country town motel, and with outstanding customer service. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and welcoming which made the biggest difference to our stay. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size.

A big thank you, we were stuck in the flooding travelling with a nine and seven year old, we stayed three nights, nothing was a problem, ray helped up us out with mesh for the cars (grasshopers), they automatically kept booking us in until they knew the roads were clear. Family friendly, clean, fantastic hospitality for a very unplanned stay.

I would like to start by saying thank you to Jan and family and Gorge(the brolga) for making us feel very welcome. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Believe me this motel is on a 5 star level. I have stayed at several motels and hotels with work and omg this motel is all... More

Nice and close to town so an easy walk up to dinner. This motel has recently been taken over by a lovely friendly couple and nothing is a trouble to them. The room was clean and comfortable and undercover parking was provided. Nice, quiet air conditioner. The Wi-Fi was excellent.

Absolutely lovely hosts. Rooms are comfortable, clean & welcoming. Plenty of room to park larger vehicles. Pub down the road recommended for dinner. Showers and bathrooms look like they are brand new. Wifi fast and reliable. Austar a nice touch. Will definitely be back.

Our main reason for visiting Winton was to go to the Age of the Dinosaur museum and Lark Quarry for the dinosaur stampede exhibition. We stayed in this motel which is on the main street in Winton and you can easily walk to the cafes, pubs, shops. This is budget accommodation and is obviously utilised by fly in fly out... More

Stayed in this hotel for 1 night. Very clean and comfortable. The bathroom had a notice which said the water would have a Sulphur smell. They have explained the reason being the place located on top of a mineral basin. Free WiFi was provided but was not strong enough.

Was disappointed that Geoff and Lynne have moved on, but the rooms are still spectacular! Stayed at the beginning of Festival weeks, so was lucky to score a room. Breakfast was prompt and well presented. Cheap, clean, tidy accommodation in a great location to the Main Street!

Quite a surprise to find a motel comprising rooms in demountable buildings, but nonetheless we were prepared to be impressed from the amount of positive reviews. The owner was a friendly chap who found nothing too much trouble so the welcome after a long day on the road was refreshing and appreciated. The room itself though was fairly basic to... More

Having stayed in this motel previously, we knew what to expect and it didn't disappoint. It was clean and comfortable. In some aspects it was beginning to look a little tired and some basic maintenance wouldn't hurt. As part of a bus tour, we ate in the dining room and the food was excellent. It is situated a comfortable walk... More
