At the 'end' of the main street in Winton, with a corner view of the rest of the world, sits the Tatts. Good food and fair prices. We sat inside but many other visitors sat outside in the cool of the evening. With ample outside dining to view the passers-by. The dinning room was adorned with yesteryear items and most... More

Best outback pub/dining room we've been in for many years. Great atmosphere, good home cooked food, and really good Guinness. Barmaid Amy keeps the place jumping. Lots of space across the road in their trailer park. Highly recommended. Docshay.

We recently had lunch at this hotel, hubby had steak sandwich and I had pumpkin soup, both were absolutely delicious. Pub was extremely busy the day we had lunch, I thought prices reasonable considering the location, as it must cost more to get 'things' delivered to Winton. Would certainly recommend.

When we complained were treated very poorly by owner and staff .would avoid at allcosts

Friendly at first, we arrived in town and checked out all the pubs. Noticed this one had a collection of caps, offered one to the publican only to be rudely told "oh I don't collect them". We visited the other pubs in town and was told this would be the best one for a feed, so back we go for... More

Have just experienced my first outback festival in Winton and would recommend it to everyone. The atmosphere in town was electric, bands playing, the town was humming and NO TRouble from anyone. The Tatts hotel served a beautiful Barramundi with a side of salad and fries and of course the Guinness was to die for. Price wise, I thought it... More

This hotel has the atmosphere that used to exist in Australian country pubs - certainly not 4-5 star, but very basic - but loaded with atmosphere - I always stay here - being brought up in the country I appreciate the style of the place. Facilities at the end of the passage, and air conditioning of the blow through wind... More

We did not stay at the hotel, just ate there. The menu is wide ranging and the quality is clearly superior to many pub meals elsewhere, but I do think the prices here are too high for what you get. I ordered prawn cutlets and salad. The prawn cutlets were slightly over-cooked, although the prawns still very tasty inside the... More

We walked in, were greeted by the barmaid and immediately felt at home. It's a country pub! The meals are country pub meals: if you're looking for Suchi or "drizzles" of some oil - go somewhere else. The whole environment is one of welcome, of convivial company, and excellent hospitality from the staff. Our meals were excellent pub food. That's... More
