Kids and parents all agreed was the best food on the whole 2 weeks eating out! Great burgers, fish and chips. Went back twice. Barmaid and Publican were so accommodating, professional and friendly. Lots to choose from on the menu and even got heated choc mud cake for dessert! Thanks Tatts!

Initially greeted by a fantastic bar attendant with a positive attitude. That is it. The food was disgusting and sent back. Only for the arrogant publican to attempt to charge the company. What he didn't realise was we owned the company he was attempting to charge. KEEP DRIVING

Driving into Winton after dark, one pub had dinners out on the veranda's clearly relishing their meals. There was no accomodation left, but I had an excellent meal with some excellent beer. I got to talking to the publican who is a very knowledgeable naturalist and who is a natural inhabitant of the fossil country.... This is an exceptionally well... More

Food was average steak sandwich came our worse than from a Chinese cafe in the city. I expected the best in regards to steak got way less than average. Overpriced for what I got, seems to have revolving staff and a cranky owner whatever you do don't let a cuss word slip in the bar. He likes to be talk... More

We travelled from Townsville to Winton in September 2014 for our 1st wedding anniversary and had a classic Outback Queensland long weekend. The Tatts, as it's known locally, is at the end of the main street and has plenty of parking out the back. They have a camp ground across the road with free laundry facilities. I've stayed at the... At the 'end' of the main street in Winton, with a corner view of the rest of the world, sits the Tatts. Good food and fair prices. We sat inside but many other visitors sat outside in the cool of the evening. With ample outside dining to view the passers-by. The dinning room was adorned with yesteryear items and most... More

Best outback pub/dining room we've been in for many years. Great atmosphere, good home cooked food, and really good Guinness. Barmaid Amy keeps the place jumping. Lots of space across the road in their trailer park. Highly recommended. Docshay.

We recently had lunch at this hotel, hubby had steak sandwich and I had pumpkin soup, both were absolutely delicious. Pub was extremely busy the day we had lunch, I thought prices reasonable considering the location, as it must cost more to get 'things' delivered to Winton. Would certainly recommend.
