Local booked here in November for a weekend stay. Office staff Ted was fantastic . He advised us of a special offer which was for off season and we extended our stay to take advantage. We chose a basic standard cabin. Please be prepared basic standard are the older cabins. There are newer cabins and if you ask you will... More

Hi and thank you for your comments. Thank you also for mentioning to others to ask about the different accommodation types as a lot specifically ask for the budgets. Good news also, in the very near future, there will be new cabins being installed and the older ones done up. So hopefully you will come back and stay in one... More

This is a beautiful place to spend a few days. Try and catch a fish or do nothing. The staff here are very good. They are friendly and helpful. There are walks to go on and plenty to see in the area. Worth a visit

The wife & I just had a 4 day w/end in a "Budget Cabin" in this wonderful location. We had a great stay but our cabin should be condemned. The curtains were thin and short so no sleep ins. There was no screen door on cabin so no chance of leaving door open for breeze without mozzies & insects invading.... More

Nice staff, good location, we travelled as a family of four and we fit nicely into the waterfront villas although there wasn't enough room for the porta cot in any of the very small bedrooms. We hired a boat and tried to catch fish but no fish to be found in the lake of a thousand casts.

Hi, we're sorry to hear you didn't have any luck in catching any fish. We've checked and apparently the water was still a wee bit cold for the Barra. However, they along with a lot of Black Brim are being caught now that the weather has been warming up. We hope to see you up here over the Barra Bash... More

This area was unknown to us and we were very impressed with the area and would recommend it as a holiday destination. We could spend ages here as there is do much to see & do. The park was great - friendly and accommodating staff and nothing to complain about.

Lake Tinaroo is a magical place, caravan park is clean and very comfortable. Sites are big and green and amenities clean modern and very functional. It was a quiet time so we almost had our part of the park it for ourselves the only problem, its not very well drained and after heavy rains we had muddy lake in front... More

We stayed at this park for 2 nights recently. We were lucky to get a site as it was a last minute booking due to vehicle repairs in nearby Atherton. We found the park to be clean, tidy and spacious and the staff to be very friendly. The Thursday afternoon bbq was a big hit. We would happily stay here... More

Arrived late & room had been stuffed up but ended up with an upgrade because of it into a studio. Had originally booked a budget cabin. Rooms are very basic, wouldn't have been happy if we had to pay for the studio cabins. Good kitchen facilities & laundry was good

Hi and thank you for your comments. Unfortunately, foreign visitors took your late check-in envelope by mistake - unsure why. I did want to give you a free upgrade to a villa but didn't have any available. We understand the unit was basic but it, along with 3 others, are now 2 days into their refurbishment. We do hope you'll... More
