Let's be honest here... As someone who does not have pets in their home, when accommodation says "pet friendly" it conjures up a range of things such as, will there be any evidence that there have been animals in the cottage prior to your visit? I have to say that our weekend there recently was fabulous. There was no need... More

Hi Lisa, Thank you for your wonderful comments and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We like to ensure all our guests have a relaxing time with us. Out of the 3 cottages there is only one that is pet friendly. We look forward to having you back again. Jill and Trevor. More

Excellent cottage to relax and enjoy the area. Wonderful hosts and very friendly. The accomodation was clean and neat and had everything we needed. They have the most amazing gardens to walk around. Definitely warrants a return.

We stayed for two nights in the Granite Garden Cottages. The place is a little piece of heaven on earth. Sue, our host could not have been any more helpful. We flew into Stanthorpe airfield and did not have a way of getting around from there. We were picked up and dropped off at the airfield, she brought us to... More

We stayed 2 nights, the gardens were extensive and well maintained - very pretty. It would appear that not all the accomodation can be classed as 'cottages with a fireplace and spa bath' Our accomodation was a lage shed, converted into a one bedroom studio. whilst it was beatifully furnished is was not a cottage, no bath and no fireplace... As current Managers of Granite Gardens we consider these comments to be unjust. The hot water issue could have been solved sooner had our assistance been sought as we were available. Keep in mind the three cottages as depicted on our website have spas and fireplaces. The studio is a different option and is a spacious, modern open plan style. We... More

Had a great two nights there. Stayed in Studio Lodge - great. Huge room with kitchenette. Lovely breakfast supplied - you cook yourself. Best of all, our Princess, Josie (maltese cross), was welcome. Oh, and the loaf of home baked bread supplied was a treat.

A peaceful and beautiful cottage, perfect for a getaway. Watching the wildlife from our private balcony overlooking the lake, having a walk through the gardens and a fun hit on the 9-hole golf course. For anyone who wants to be left alone, this is perfect. Everything you could want is supplied, the breakfast supplies were more than adequate and the... More

From the moment we arrived with our furry friend we were made extremely welcome. The gardens are wonderful for a stroll and this was one of the most dog friendly places we've ever stayed. The cottage was beautiful and had a good stock of wood for the fire. Overall just a great place to relax and explore the granite belt... More

We arrived in June with our dog to a very warm welcome. The cottage was beautifully prepared and we fell immediately into relax mode. The property is lovely with birdlife at your doorstep. The homemade bread was a treat and the fridge was stocked with all you need for a hearty hot breakfast. The wood fire was also a treat... More
