31 the Rocks is a great place to stay when visiting Stanthorpe. Lovely cabins in a natural setting only a two minute drive to town. My daughter and I had the front cabin which was really clean and cosy and well equipped. It has a great log fire which really warmed the cabin nicely, making it really cosy. The bed... More

Recently had weekend here with other couples and shared the two bedroom cabin. Very comfortable..plenty of warm bedding. Only negative not enough lighting in kitchen. Hosts have done a good job providing little touches. Breakfast was simple but enough..bread was a lovely touch. Thank you.

Thanks for your comments. We replaced the light bulb in the dining room and the down spot light in the kitchen as soon as we were aware of the problem. We could have done this during your stay if you had advised us at reception or you could have used our Maintenance Request slip for immediate action. We are always... More

Lovely place unless you want a log fire. We stayed here in the most popular season for Stanthorpe, and let's face it, everyone loves a wood fire. Well you would unless you stay here. 2 hyper sensitive sensors positioned just above the wood stove mean there is no chance of using the wood burner provided unless you like being kept... More

A shame that didn't enjoy the fire in the villa. The information in the compendium and the verbal instructions on the use of the fire generally results in an enjoyable experience. The fire places have been used with success for the past eight winter seasons. If you had requested assistance I would have been only to happy to ensure that... More

What a treat 31TheRocks was. It was a very cold weekend but all the comforts of a snugly warm 2 nights awaited us. There was a beautiful log fire, electric blankets and reverse cycle air conditioning provided in our studio apartment. The extra towels provided was an added bonus and the freshly baked bread was delicious too. Too delightful for... More

My partner and I just got back from our first weekend in Stanthorpe and this was the perfect location. It's in a beautiful spot just out of town which means it's private and quiet but still in the best spot to get to all the sights. Even before we checked in we knew it was going to be a great... More

This place was just perfect. Set in a private bushland location it is still close enough to town for convenience or to grab some takeaway if you don't feel like cooking on the BBQ or using the hotplates and microwave. I was impressed with their attention to detail and the little touches: aroma reeds in the bathroom, recent magazines to... More

Quiet and peaceful, set among the trees. The villas are separated which provides privacy. The villa was modern, simple, functional and had everything that you needed, but lacked atmosphere and warmth. It was a practical place for our wine tasting weekend but I wouldn't recommend it for a romantic weekend. We stayed two nights and enjoyed a barbie on the deck which was... More

Villa was very modern and exceptionally clean. It is a welcome change to what is on offer from most places in the region. The best customer service I have had at any accommodation, anywhere in the world from owner's Phil and Beryl. They have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay, plus don't hesitate to go the... More

Great modern and functional cabin layout. Very suited to cool climate with a easy to use woodfire. A pleasant outlook with quiet surroundings and yet only 1.5kms to centre of town. Owners, Phil and Beryl, were lovely.

A quick escape for 3 nights. what a great experience. The Villa was equipped with everything that we needed for our stay, clean comfortable, great bed and pillows, also a wonderful Shower. The surroundings are calm and restful. We booked the wine tour that was offered and we both had an exceptional day. Many thanks to our Hosts Phil and... More
