Arrived on a very hot afternoon to be welcomed by temporary managers - excellent reception. Went for a shower to cool down and found the water to be warm. -- in direct contrast to my shower the next morning, only cold water. Very quiet park, slept well so, no real complaints - cold shower was refreshing for a change.

We stayed one night on the 12th Sept. The camp kitchen was great. My only negative comment is the shower heads need replacing in the amenity block behind the pool. Would stay again with more time to sight see.

We arrived to find the pool filled with foul mouthed people all at top decibels. They then out of pool and took over the Camp kitchen; decibels increased if anything. By this stage all visitors had retreated to their vans. Park manager was not upset by their behavior as he passed regularly on his Big Rig Golf Car. Partner off... More

The park is quite close to town and directly opposite Roma's main tourist attraction Big Rig Tourist Centre which houses the Oil Patch and Night Show attraction. You can walk to town from the park takes about 10 Minutes to Woollies. The site we had was big enough, you can drive through from the street and had a concrete slab.... More

Stayed 3 nights at this park, great experience, amenities might be older styled but always very clean. Don't know where the grumpy manager was hiding as we had no experiencing of him in our three days, in fact the management team, were very friendly, chatty and helpful.Would definitely recommend to others as a place to stay.

It was with some trepidation that we booked at The Big Rig Park after reading the reviews on this site. However we were nothing but very happy with our experience of an overnight stay on the way North. Reception staff were very helpful and the so called "grumpy" manager was lovely, helping us set up and chatting about Roma and... More

The park is close to town - a great feature. Our overnight stay was basically OK but the amenities need some serious maintenance, I would start with a coat of paint and replace the broken and missing hooks in the showers. The shelves in the showers are small and some are broken. In one of the men's showers the hot and... More
