Thank you for your recent review of our property. I am sorry to hear your steak was not cooked to your liking and that the crème brulee was not presented to it's usual standard. I have passed on your comments to the chefs to take immediate action. Carnarvon Gorge is a wonderful place to visit and I hope you and... More

I Overnighted between jobs in the "400" section of the Roma Explorer. The rooms are very spacious and comfortable with an adequate ensuite. There is a small kitchenette but I'm more inclined to eat out. Staff are very friendly and I'm sorry I didn't have the opportunity to eat in the restaurant which requires a booking for dinner. The only... More

Rooms are all new and very spacious! Some of the most open planned I have seen. The bathrooms are very modern and stylish and also very spacious! The staff are all friendly and helpful and are knowledgeable about Roma. The restaurant was very good indeed. Could be mistaken for 5 star! I personally had the duck...and was incredible! Will be... Thank you for your review about our motel. We do set a very high standard in cleanliness and it is nice to see people notice. The duck is one of our best sellers in the restaurant and we are glad that you also enjoyed the flavours. Come back again soon to try our new menu which is due to release... More

Room clean, bathroom great, kitchen facilities basic. We were woken by fire alarm in our room due to person next door cooking. Kitchens are not equipped with extractor fans and the alarms are linked across rooms. Additionally the alarms are so high that you can't reach them even standing on a chair to reset them, so you have to let... More

What an unfortunate stay you had .... if only we could have found the culprit that burnt his breakfast. In response to your comments left at reception, we contacted our local Fire and Safety Officer who advised us that we were able to rewire the alarms so that they did not set every room off if one person burnt their... What a great motel in outback Queensland. Extremely clean and well presented. The gardens are immaculate! Comfy beds and the rooms are very spacious. Great restaurant. A must stay! Excellent conference facilities that cater for large crowds in needed. Highly recommend! Courtesy bus if needed but you must book ahead.

We are delighted you enjoyed our facilities ..... it is a little hidden gem full of surprises and being in a country town makes us even more unique. Our restaurant has excellent chefs who have a genuine passion for what they do and enjoy "wowing" visitors with their culinary delights. We hope you see you again in the near future. More

Great stay, rooms are spacious and clean - serviced daily. Restaurant is reasonably priced and the service very good from attentive staff, busy so suggest you make a reservation and try the Salmon! Great breakfast. Receptionist a little surly but the other staff make up for her!

Stay here whenever I have to travel, normally four or five times a year and its always good. Rooms are a good size, I like the location being a little bit out of town and if you can get one of the back rooms it's nice and quiet. Restaurant is good food, great steaks.

Thank you for taking the time to write about your recent experience at our motel. We appreciate your feedback. A lot of places in Roma use bore water at the motel which has a slight odour to it. On some days it can smell like eggs and can leave your skin feeling like you have smothered baby oil on it.... More

I stayed at the Explorer's Inn for one night while in Roma for work. The room was very spacious, clean and everything that I needed for the night. The staff were very welcoming and I really appreciated the amenities kit in the bathroom, which was much more generous than some city hotels I've stayed in. While not an issue earlier... More

Travelling with two teenagers and booking a family room can be a gamble, but this hotel proved to be a winner. The kids had a separate bedroom with their own TV and we had plenty of room to relax without being on top of each other. It was clean and had a huge bathroom and extra towel, which I love.... More

What a surprise in a small country town! This is a large motel complex (don't know why it is listed under B&B). It is spotlessly clean, the rooms are large. It is very quiet, both in terms of street noise and noise from adjoining rooms. And the staff are very friendly and helpful. I stayed two nights for work and... More
