Aussies are obviously spoilt with good quality campsites, but as Poms on tour this was our first nights in such a site and (despite the weather) it was a very positive experience. Site layout, space, cooking and toilet facilities all excellent. There is even a covered open lounge, where we braved watching the World Cup final at 05.oo a.m. One... More

Stayed here for 2 nights., Lady owner very pleasant. Cabin expensive but clean and nice. Had everything you may need plus more. Cabin was clean and had nice bathroom. Amazing spot just across the road from the beach.....really enjoyable stay

We stayed in a cabin, it was very basic, clean but dated. The location is good a short walk to the shops and beach. The cabin whilst clean had a very strong musty smell. The manager came across as disinterested. I would not stay here again.

We stayed here for two nights in September 2012 and loved the park. Nice and relaxing, friendly staff, clean amenities and park. Close to shops. The big selling point for us is it allowed our pet cat to stay in our van on the powered site. If we're ever in Mission Beach again we would have no hesitation to stay... More

We had a comfortable one night stay here, very basic, clean and tidy cabin in a really handy location, with lovely gardens and very friendly staff. The beautiful beach is a short stroll across the road and shops just as close down the road. We stopped here on a week night, so the town was very quiet. We would stay... More

The location & grounds are great but the amenities block is the worst we have come across. Toilet seats that fall off, cracked/broken toilet bowls, showers that have to be seen to be believed. Children or short people would have no hope of reaching the taps. These taps are directly behind the over head shower head so if you turn... More

Just over a week ago my husband and I arrived in a Motor home at Mission Beach Hideaway. We hadn t booked but were given a powered site and told we had to move to another site the next day. We did so and asked Chris Curnak if we could advise him weekly if we decided to stay longer. He... More

On my second stay in one of their self contained cabins I found it to be as good as the first, I found the cabin to be very clean and well stocked with the necessities and in good order, The managers have obviously had a task on their hands bringing it back after the last cyclone and seem to be... What a beautiful park in a great location, right over the road from Mission Beach. A little noisy for 2 nights with wedding parties in the cabins directly behind us. Facilities well laid out & clean but do need updating. Lovely gardens and outdoor rec area. Sites for vans were pretty tight. On check in we were welcomed without a... More

Well run family owned caravan park located in Main Street f mission beach. A nice touch is Keith taking you to your caravan site and controlling the reversing of the van. He leaves nothing to your imagination and locates you millimetres from the slab. Many years of practice. Facilities are clean and tidy without being modern.
