Excellent cabin. Looks like the managers/cleaners really take pride in their units. Park is extremely tidy and clean. Very nice gardens. The park is across from the beach with nice walking trails. Also plenty of beach to walk on. Also information center is across the road. Our deluxe cabin even had a spa. Plenty of beds, plenty of kitchen stuff to... More

We stayed at Hideaway caravan park & found it very much less than quality we have come to expect from a Top Tourist park.... The lady who booked us in was lovely, but the grumpy guy who was there most of the time was rather rude.... The sites were very squishy, amenities should be updated big time... For $47pn it... More

Unlike a lot of reviewers who have based their reviews on the grumpy man behind the desk, I would not let a mono detail like this affect me. The cabins are great, they are well located and have a sweet little front porch with a table and chairs, good for a morning coffee and fruit salad. Walk across the road... More

Great place to stay, very central, we booked a cabin with a bathroom and found it very comfortable. Walk to village 50 metres and cross road to beach. Will be back and bring grandchildren next time. Offers a great play area, undercover games area with a TV for the kids. Swimming pool was also sheltered from the wind and nice.

It looks packed, however the setting is delightful, opposite the beach and 150 metres from cafes etc. amenities are spotlessly clean and camp sites are well kept. We stayed on a powered site backing onto the rainforest brilliant. Will return and hopefully soon.

The sites were small and hard to get into but nice and grassy. The amenities block was a bit tired and no power points were working in male or female blocks. Was this a cost cut ???. Owners seemed like they would rather be elsewhere and filling the gas bottle was expensive.Would not stay there again.

Second time we've stayed here on a caravan site and it's always been a pleasure. Yes the pool was 'milky' & yes the man at reception wasn't the friendliest, but location makes up for that, was surprised that all the caravans were grouped together upon check in, a little more space & privacy would have been nice as it wasn't... To start with, the photos did not reflect the qualiity of the cabin. The fridge was noisy and subsequently didn't keep things cold. The air-con was noisy and there was mold in the bathroom. The double bed was low and felt as though it was on the way out. The pool has seen better days and had a "milky" look... More

What a shame. A caravan park in decent condition in a good location in Mission Beach almost empty? Can't be just the 5 days of rainy weather we had in the current cyclone season. Feedback from other guests was similar to most of the reviews here on Tripadvisor. What an unfriendly and rude individual behind the front counter! Tried to... More

Heading south and made a last minute decision with the family to head into Mission Beach and found this park. Looks like paradise from the road, but far from it in reality. Worst customer service that I have ever experienced in 20 years of travels. The grumpy old man at reception didn't seem at all interested or helpful but it... More
