We travelled to mission beach to do a skydive - it was a beautifully maintained site with great facilities (cooking and bathroom) and only a cross over the road to the beach. There is a cheaper council site on the beach however ut didn't have any Internet and facilities looked run down. This site offered 50mgbs per device which was... More

A last minute decision to stay in Mission Beach at this village. My decision to book here was based on a previous stay at a Top Tourist Park in Charters Towers. The man (Chris) who attended to us was surly, and appeared to have no interest in our stay or to make us welcome. The cabin (#28) was basic but... More

What a shame...great location, but met by Chris, the rudest and most unfriendly individual we have met in over two months of traveling around Australia. Refused to honor the price agreed to over the telephone and then turned nasty when asked to do so. Why work in hospitality if you are unable to even manage a mere smile for people... More

This is a nice park, especially if you get a pitch at the back of the site away from the road noise. The pitches are well kept and there are nice trees and shrubs throughout, so it is attractive. The toilets and showers work fine but in todays world are beginning to look a bit dated, a makeover is due... More

We stayed here for two nights while visiting the area in Sept 2014 in a camper van and found it to be a great spot. The park itself was clean and well laid out and the facilities were all clean and terrific. The actual location in Mission Beach is very central with a world heritage listed forest behind the park,... More

We had a great week in a lovely pet friendly park! The managers were friendly and helpful and everything was clean and well maintained. We will be back! Yes it is a little bit pricey, but well worth it, Mission Beach needs to get back on its feet with tourist support!

Nice place to stay but thank goodness for the lady in reception , as her male members are rude with no people skills. Old man on golf cart was rude to us 2 days in a row went I went to front office to offer my concerns the male family member said " how would I know I was not... More

We booked this caravan park back in in March 2014 (that's right, five months ago) and paid a $47 deposit. We now cannot make it due to unforseen circumstances and have to head back to NSW. Rang to cancel, giving 7 days notice and was dismayed to learn that they require a minimum of 60 days' notice (that's right an... More

In this park you will get none of that, during peak season they charge $47 p/n where parks less than 5 kms away charge $30. I didn't know this price difference when I made the booking I'll know where to stay next time. Like other reviewers we found the female owner to be rude and belligerent and not at all... More

Aussies are obviously spoilt with good quality campsites, but as Poms on tour this was our first nights in such a site and (despite the weather) it was a very positive experience. Site layout, space, cooking and toilet facilities all excellent. There is even a covered open lounge, where we braved watching the World Cup final at 05.oo a.m. One... More
