We stayed there for 2 weeks in Dec 2013/Jan 2014. Despite high season the hotel was very quiet. Most of the guests stayed there for 1-2 nights. They have 4 swimming pools and 4 BBQs by the pools. Convenient location - just next to the Woolworth and BWS. Our room was newly renovated, nice and fresh. We did not like... More

Quite and civilised resort but very dated rooms. The restaurant is good though - nice food and good value - especially the buffet on Sunday. Better than most of the other eating places around which we found to be dirty and empty. As for mission beach area, it was like a ghost town. Staff at the resort were saying that... More

I had booked to stay at the resort for 11 days and after enjoying what the resort had to offer and the amenities that were close by I decided to stay for the rest of my holiday, another 13 days. On requesting a rebook I was told that the resort was fully booked for a wedding the following Saturday but... More

We were up here with the family here on holidays, we were staying here and we would never recommend anybody to stay/eat here. We went to the manager to complain about the food and service, And he was very rude to us and told us off. Where did the saying go that the customer is always right??? when we were... More

I stayed 3 days and it was excellent. Good sized room with 4 beds, unrenovated, but well maintained very well equipped, including a small stove and very pleasant staff, ask for Rhonda, she was excellent.Good on site restaurant that does deals. I wanted to extend, and will gladly stay there again.Pool outside the door. Each building of about 10 units... More

The room was clean and seemed pretty new. There are multiple saltwater pools on the property and each of them are very nice. A 10 minute walk to the beach! Woke up for the sunrise one day. There is a BWS and Woolworth's literally right next to the resort as well, a one minute walk.

Stayed in a deluxe family room. It was very pleasant, plenty of space and clean. Looked out onto one of the 4 lovely pools, which we all enjoyed using. Resort very quiet. You need a car to explore the area, but there is a small shopping complex with bottle shops, a couple of restaurants and large Woolworths within walking distance.... More

We stayed one night travelling through from Cairns to Townsville for work. We usually only stay in cheaper accomodation when working as we arrive late and leave early. We chose the standard unrenovated room for $100 a night and were pleasantly surprised for the cost. We had a nice outlook onto a bush backdrop, and a pool designated for our... More

This property varies significantly, according to room type. The standard room we had is an extremely basic older style motel room. It is not a resort, merely a set of variable standard rooms set in clusters around a 'BWS' pokies hotel, also dated. It is NOT at Mission Beach but much further south, too far to walk.
