Driving East Coast and felt tired had to spend the night in mission beach checked with wotif and the Eco village seemed nice booked it. 5 mins later at reception check in fast " love it". Clean room nice beds. Open style shower some people may not like it but I was fine with it over size shower head "nice"... More

We visited in April '14 and we stayed in one of the self contained spa bungalows which was very comfortable and spacious enough for a couple. You could hear the sea from the bathroom when you opened the window. We did however have the aircon on the whole time as it is still quite humid and hot at this time... More

Great little spot especially if you like the rainforest atmosphere. I am scared off all bugs and had to come up for a business trip. Room (bungalow) was very clean and quite. Staff is friendly and close to local eateries. There were only a few mosquitos in the room but I killed them before I went to sleep no other... More

I stayed at the resort during the wet season so the overall memory of my stay was of the humidity and sweating but the quietness and chilled out nature of the resort was a good lasting one too! Simple accomodation, simple surroundings. Nothing flashy but perfect if u are on a budget and want somewhere quiet. The resort is small... More

We come from North Queensland, have 3 kids (13,11,9yrs) and this resort is perfect for us for a short getaway. We love the setting in the rainforest but right near the beach, and the simple but nice self-contained unit is ideal. The rates are so reasonable and we love that the resort does not charge extra for the 3-5th person.... More

Christmas in the Rain Forest was magical. The chalet was well equipped, the beds were comfortable and you open you door straight onto the flora and fauna of the rain forest, with the wildlife living right there. Despite an aversion to creepy crawlers, it was fantastic to be up close with nature. The pool was idealic, warm and deep enough... More

Stayed here last week, and what a fantastic place. The accommodation is really nice, peaceful and well serviced. Dan the manager there is excellent and can't do enough for you, the food is great, the pool is lovely and the setting is to die for. Thank you for everything, would love to come back some time. Hopefully I will.

Have stayed here several times before and will certainly return again. It is more basic than some resorts but I don't believe they are trying to be an upmarket resort - if you are looking for a relaxing break in a beautiful part of the world you can't go past here. Staff were very welcoming and friendly - nothing seemed... More

Large room set in tropical grounds and right on the beach. It could be a lot better but it's all a bit ordinary. The furniture and decor are dated, the bathroom is tired. The restaurant is only open 2 nights a week and the menu only has 4 main dishes (steak or fish). There is nowhere else to eat nearby.... More

Large, clean, spacious room with comfortable bed, air conditioning and kitchenette. Lovely tropical setting with easy access to the fantastic beach. If you want to swim, there is an area sectioned off with stinger nets about a 15 minute walk down the beach. The beach was almost deserted when we were there which we were very surprised about - a...
