I stayed a day and night there in a motorhome and as there were only a handful of guests spread out in various accommodation eg caravan and cabins it felt like I was the sole guest. It's an amazing place to stay with its history as an ammunition store consisting of over 20 underground bunkers during WWII - looks like... More

This is a hidden gem. Go through Miles 19 km follow the signs. It is the site of a WWII ammunition storage that has some fabulous historical dug-in huts that you can stay in or the very latest modern cabins. We take our van and their van park area is very well laid out. There is always a camp fire... More

We stayed in a camper at a flat powered site in full view of a TAA Viscount which was in the process of being converted as additional accommodation. Should make for an interesting stay some time in the future!! Look forward to trying it out! Staff were friendly and David, the owner, was very keen to share his knowledge of... More

Although it is primarily accommodation, rail carriage, bunker, caravan, tent, it is a fascinating place to visit. The rich history is amazing, the area could be hot & dry in the summer. Best time to visit March to October. The staff are very helpful and friendly. It was an area used in the war to store "fire crackers" in large... More

We had a powered site for a few nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very friendly and the limited number of sites made it quite nice with a smaller group of travellers sharing stories and information. Definitely return here and recommend it to others.

Wow - a stark contrast to the uniformity of your Discovery/Big 4 type parks. A pinch quirky. Super friendly service from all staff. Travelled with young family, was not a bad place for the kids for one night - but lack of kids facilities suggests one night would be the limit with school age kids in tow. Majority of other... we were in a caravan and it was nice park for a night or two. has a lot of potential for showing its history off a little more. did the walk around the bunkers but it could have done with a few historical signs and interesting facts. hospitality good and amenities clean although a little dated and could lose the... We pulled into this park after reading about it on the Internet and what a pleasant stay it was.Only for one night as we were on our way home, unfortunately. The owners were very welcoming and when we reached the caravan site we were given a brief history of the camp. Plenty to see and a campfire at night. The night we... More

Recently spent two nights in bunker accommodation at Possum Park. It certainly is different! There are a dozen undeveloped bunkers so it is easy to see how the place would have looked when it was an ammunition dump during WW2. There are approx. 5 developed bunkers as well as the usual caravan park, on site villas and converted rail carriages.... More
