Smack in the main street and walking distance to pubs and clubs. Comfortable and clean and not over priced. Very helpful staff and manager on duty. All rooms are on car park level so no climbing stairs. Microwave, toaster and jug in room Will stay again.

This place is right in the middle of town so you can walk to anything. We had a room at the back of the motel so it was quiet. The room was cool, clean and well appointed. There was no pool but the shower was good. Loved the grassed picnic area under the trees. The owner was wonderfully helpful.

I travel to Longreach once a month with work and have been staying at this motel for the last eighteen months. Ray (owner) is always friendly and helpful. Walking distance to everything in the town centre. The noise from the Lyceum hotel was sometimes an issue in the past but this has improved immensely over the past few months. I... More

Overnight stay on business. Pros? On the main street, quiet, comfy beds, microwave in rooms. Cons? Rooms a bit dirty, old and could do with a refurb. Awful fluro lighting. Brekky was terrible. Better off heading across the road to the bakery.

Stayed at this motel for 3 nights 23 sept to 26 sept. Clean and large motel rooms with good internet access available. Perfect place to stay for access to the town. Relaxed and friendly place to go back to after a busy day. Good shower pressure too. The only down side was the rattling air conditioner. It was a bit... More

The only drawback is the location , even though good main street access there is a pub next door and on a few occasions there has been noise from drunks in the early hours of the morning . Rooms are big and clean , internet signal is ok . We / i have stayed here many times over the past... More

The Motel room was basic, no milk in fridge, easy parking, great location in town, clean, comfy beds, good rates, not for family's during the weekend as the locals at the pub next door can get a little loud! Overall recommended accommodation in Longreach.

We have stayed here on a number of occasions in the past and are pleased to say that it is now well managed and as clean and comfortable as we remembered. The rooms are spacious with a microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and a good sized fridge as standard fittings. Water pressure in the shower was good and the air con... More

The negatives just outweigh anything positive. It's an old, dated country-style motel; clean, undercover parking and in a good location for shops along the main street - Eagle Street. However, the management does not monitor the noise level and disturbance created by other guests. A loud party of drunken men carried on until 3.15 am keeping me awake and further... More

Hi Gail, Firstly I would like to apologise for the bad experience you seemed to have had in our great little town. It is a wonderful, safe friendly place that tourists love to visit year after year. The Longreach Motel went under new management in May this year and we have big plans to revamp this motel but since it... More
