What an awesome tourist park. It has everything! Spotless shower/toilet blocks with good hot water, soap & paper towel, a lovely pool with both shade & sun, some great, clean and well fitted out camp kitchens, a fabulous bar & restaurant with 2 menus (including Thai!) The food was GREAT!! They have live entertainment during peak season. The staff are... More

Basic cabin facilities but adequate for our needs. There was an error with our booking due to third party booking system but Grant was great at sorting things out for us. He also was very accommodating with making bookings for tours and giving us ideas for what to see and do. General facilities in the park are good if a... More

We stayed here in august and they staff were great . The spas weren't working when we got in and on reporting this to the office within10 minutes someone had come and had a look at it and we were able to enjoy a great relaxing spa. The amenities were clean and the camp kitchen was great. The coffee machine... More

I know we are in the outback and I don't expect grassy sites, however, some other strategies need to be put in place to limit the dust. The park has a speed limit of 8kh. This is not enforced and the dust blows everywhere. Possibly laying some bitumen on the roads would help. This park is so big and the... More

The park itself has a nice feel to it however it's dry and dusty and if a car goes by it stirs up a dust storm as the only place you find grass is in the pool areas. The amenities are something else. The urinals don't flush so the smell of pee / ammonia goes through the whole block. They... More

My wife and I stayed in the Longreach Tourist Park for several weeks and found the staff not only friendly and helpful, but also very efficient and courteous. We had an en-suite site and it was great to have the opportunity to have a disabled one as my wife was recovering from recent surgery. The entertainment in The Woolshed was... More

Largest of the 2 caravan parks in Longreach. This one is within walking distance to Qantas Museum and Stockmans Hall of Fame. Quite full when we arrived. We have a tent and there were not many spaces suitable. Camped around an empty billabong (apart from old tyres). Camp was surprisingly quiet for number of people, facilities were great. Had been... I glad we were not put off by some of poor reviews because they we way off the mark. The staff were extremely helpful. Whilst it was a dusty location they have had around 100mm of rain in 12 months. The amenities were excellent and very clean. Great entertainment each night. Some need to remember this is very outback and... More

!!! Please disregard our rating as we didn't stay but found we had to click to satisfy our report. Simply treat this as a heads up !!! Mrs & I were travelling without our caravan and looking for cabins or motels. We tried to book ahead at this caravan park several times but no one answered the phone. We had... More
