Only stayed one night but it was complimentary sausage sizzle and live music. The amenities are well placed and clean. It has a real outback feel. The park is mostly gravel but very well maintained. No dust at all. Very friendly and well priced. We will staying there again on our way home.

I like the Cabins in this park as they are nice and clean and have everything. Well stocked Kitchen good TV and not to tiny . The price is the same as most hotels but you are full self contained in the cabin and everything you might need is supplied. Nice and clean and tidy and well kept. Lots of... More

Generous site sizes for all kinds of camping. Not a lot of shade available, but despite the dry conditions we had no problems with dust. Very large camp kitchen which is well stocked with excellent lighting. Clean, tidy amenities with reasonably hot water too. The office closes at 5pm and was quite busy between 4pm and 5pm with tour bookings... More

Make sure you don't pull into the Longreach Caravan Park instead of this one (Longreach Tourist Park) like we almost did. This park is far superior. There's not much shade and no grass but they offer larger caravan sites. The staff were very friendly and helpful. You are allotted your site and not like most parks where first in best... More

Stayed during school holidays so very busy & pool full of kids so didn't stay in for long, great camp kitchen with big screen TV blokes were watching footy on, could hear stockmans hall of fame show at night from park so got a free show without the visual, most expensive unpowered site we've stayed in & no grass, crammed... Clean amenities, camp kitchen, large laundry. Booking required may to sept as peak season. Powered camp site,$35 per night but insure cabins and ensuite power sites also available... More

Make sure you check the type of accom when booking. The older cabins are pretty tired and so small. Luckily nice hosts agreed to move us to a billabong villa which was lovely and so appreciated! Made the stay much more enjoyable. Facilities all clean. Very central to town, Qantas exhibit and Stockmans HOF.

Stayed in a cabin for three nights. They are worn and very basic, but clean and the bed was comfortable, aircon is old and noisy but worked very well. Keep in mind that this is outback Queensland and the cabins condition and age reflect that. Staff were great, prices were cheap, so unless you're expecting a 4 star resort for... More

We arrived near dark and the park was almost empty so we had our choice of camp sites. Facilities very clean but might be worth looking at the ventilation holes above the women's toilets. Very helpful and friendly staff

Didn't live up to beautiful website pictures. Spas and waterfall area were not operational, no grass, lots of prickles, slab was small and worn away and upon leaving our car and caravan were full of Singapore ants. We paid $41 for a powered site which was a bit rich considering the above. Only good thing was the pool.
