Off the beaten Track in the middle of the rainforest this is truly a relaxing place to spend some time to unwind from todays fast pace world. The food is absolutely divine when we finished Lunch I was looking forward to our Dinner that evening. Rosy was wonderful accommodating our needs. We will be revisiting for another relaxing weekend and... More

Great to see the animals and birds in their native environment, we had delicious meals and friendly service. The road in is the only draw back but its OK. Being gluten intolerant I was wary but was catered for more than adequately unlike most other places.

I rarely stay anywhere more than once - I love to explore! AND I live 3000km away, so to come back for a 4th visit says something! only 45min from Cairns but without the hustle and bustle, (there are a few km of dirt, but it is easy driving) tucked away on the edge of a creek with a platypus... We stayed for three nights and only wish it could have been longer. It is everything the reviews say - fantastic service by hosts Rosy and Christoph, charming well appointed rooms, idyllic surrounds and absolutely the most delicious meals. Hopefully one day we may get to visit there again.

We stayed here for 4 days and enjoyed every minute. The resort is located on the edge of the rainforest only 15 minutes from Kuranda. There's all sorts of wildlife wandering around with lots of photo opportunities. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent with gluten free options. The evening meals were as good as... More

We were lucky enough to find this beautiful casual accommodation, and want to share it so that others can also experience its environment and friendliness. Built on the edge of a beautiful flowing creek, with a resident platypus, the rainforest comes right up to the edge of the property and the creek. The hosts are friendly, and willing to share... Then we met the chef and ordered our meals.the meals were excellent and very well presented. The staff were very attentive throughout the meal, but not in e face all the time.... More

Five of us had a wonderful overnight stay in 3 rooms. The location is magical and peaceful. The food is superb and the proprietors treat you like friends. The bill is not a nasty shock either. Worth every cent.

We only stayed for a night in this resort. The room was very spacious and it basically has a living room as well. The room was clean and nice. Port wine and some snacks was provided which i found as a nice gesture. Each room has a small terrace facing the backyard. They have a walking trail at the back... More

Nice and spacious rooms, excellent service, excellent restaurant at normal prices. Place is very quiet, in full nature. Christipher and Rosy are very nice and make you feel at home. Unfortunately the platypus didn't show up.
