It was so lovely to stay somewhere a little different from your average hotel. Yes - it's out of the way, but it's worth the journey. If you want a romantic getaway, it's difficult to go past Cedar Park. The atmosphere is beautiful and the restaurant good quality.

Rosy and Christop are excellent hosts. Made us feel right at home even though coming late, they helped us get our stuff in our rooms and let me say the room and the heated matress pad was an excellent touch. Bathroom was impeccable and so were the decorations and dinner. My husband loved the steak with the blue cheese sauce... More

What a completely different experience. This resort located in the Rain forest 20 minutes out of the Kuranda village is certainly not like anything else. Each room is unique and different to the others. The restaurant is a huge open balcony that overlooks the beautiful Rain forest. The food is very good and great value for money. Such a relaxing... Such lovely hosts and such a beautiful place to stay. The rooms were gorgeous, food was great and the rainforest surrounds were great to explore. It was lovely seeing lots of wildlife running around the local area has lots of interesting things to see.

Our hosts, Rosy and Christoph, were accommodating, friendly, and informative and were very helpful in every regard. The location was beautiful, and sharing quiet moments with abundant native wildlife was a huge bonus for us. We found the rooms large and open, the bed very comfortable, everything very clean, and the atmosphere relaxing. The food in the restaurant was exceptional,... More

large rooms with kitchen and lounge area. The patio looks over the rainforest. Breakfast, which is continental but plentiful, is served on a large decking overlooking the rain forest. During breakfast you will see wallabies and wild turkey visiting from the rainforest. Expect accommodation to match wilderness environment. You come here for the rainforest experience don't expect 5 star accommodation.

So loved and appreciated the opportunity to spend 4 nights here. Rosie and Christoph are the definition of professional and caring hosts.. really enjoyed the ambiance they have created and the hard work they put into making everyone's stay the best it can be. The icing on the cake was the opportunity to pat the little pademelons and wallabies <3... More

After several lunches over the the last years (so good, you just WANT to come back), we finally managed to stay a night. The rooms are beautifully done up with a somewhat arty/quirky atmosphere. The beds are very comfortable and the fans provide enough air to sleep well,.....even without air conditioning!!! Rosie and Chris, the owners/operators, are very friendly, cheerful... More
