The warm welcome we received by reception staff and residents was great and our campervan fitted easily onto our chosen site. The dusk brought out both wildlife and stars and made the stay even more delightful. Facilities are basic, but individual toilets and showers are of a good size, very clean and well maintained. This is an ideal place to... More

Booked for 2 nights in their self contained unit $100.00 per night cheap price but you pay for what you get. Cabin/unit looking a little tired not very clean with mould a major issue here dripping taps the very small television didn't work very well internet/mobile phone service very poor reception. Ceiling fans could do with cleaning looks like they... More

We only stayed for one night. The location is good, although we found it a little bit dangerous to walk along the railway to go down to Kuranda village. The campsite is good, we had a lot of shade thanks to these big trees. You have to pay for wifi. Amenities are clean. Kitchen is well-equipped but does not seem... More

We spent two nights at the Rainforest Accomodation Park, travelling with a campervan. One night, we had a powered site, when we returned a few days later after being to Daintree, we had an unpowered one. Our sleep was a bit disturbed the first night when the plant above our car lost some of its nuts and they came cracking... More

Nice little spot, amenities dated but usable. Would be a great spot if the park was a little bit bigger all we had was a camper trailer and we struggled to make it fit. Staff were great though. Park had a lot of traffic from local residence however they did no harm.

It's a really nice rainforest setting with decent sized sites. The managers were very helpful with trips and local knowledge. Fair pricing ($40 per night for three adults on a powered site). We're definitely coming back if we're in the area again. Both Kuranda and Cairns are close enough for day trips and you don't even need to leave your... More

Worst camping site ever, you actually have to pay to use the bbqs, they removed all electric sockets from the common rooms so you can't charge your smartphone. River access is through a railroad where prostitutes get high. And you can't even swim in that river. Our soap got stolen and the hot water ran out halfway through the shower.... More

To Just Awful, We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay here, but I think you are going a bit overboard with prostitutes on the railroad tracks as a lot of children from our park actually walk down over the tracks with their parents to go fishing, and in the last few days we have had other customers do that walk... When booking I was disconnected twice. Required to pay in full up front. Woman on reception whinged and whinged in a very theatrical way about the previous customer (I left wondering if she whinged about us as well). Booked their best room but door jammed on entry, outside security light not working, cars driving past from 5am. Rooms are quite... More

We stayed here for 2 nights in October. The cabin was ok, quite basic, we had expected something more like a wood cabin however the cabins were more caravan-like and very out-dated. The surroundings were very nice and you can walk around the site down to the railway tracks. As it was low season everything was shut including the restaurant... More

Stayed here for 5 nights and would have gone elsewhere on the first night if I'd not already paid for the duration. There was an overwhelming smell of mould in the cabin. It was also obvious that the cabin had not been recently cleaned - there was dirt built up in the shower and the hand basin. The ceiling fans... More
