We camped in our camper trailer over the Australia Day Long weekend with friends & had a beaut time. We had a powered site & each family had 2 vehicles. We found the site to be plenty of space between each camper. Our friends had a Jet-ski and we had fishing kayaks which we would spend our day down beside... More

Not somewhere I would go for a week, but a few days is perfect. We went on January 11 to 12 - Lots of space as everyone had left after new year. It is quite high prices for the camping we usually do costing us over $150 for two nights. Going for the day on Sunday 24th January was packed... More

This is my second stay and loved it again. Stayed in a safari tent and it was amazing, no bugs inside and did not leak in the rain. No curtains or blinds, but this no bother us as the front glass doors/windows are tinted. Was lovely overlooking the water from my bed. We brought a fan as we knew it... More

Nice place to stay but don't plan on getting much sleep, as the noise other campers make after dark is too much.Every night feral people drinking and playing music. The management said no noise after 10pm ,but they don't enforce it

I would like to apologise that noise in the park continued after 10pm and that this noise went undetected by staff. We do our utmost to adhere to the regulations surrounding noise restrictions which stipulate that on most evenings, noise must cease after 10pm until 6am. While ideally you should not have to, for future reference if you find that... More

Our first visit , we can highly recommend this park.....We will certainly return, perhaps mid-week next time. We do not fish or have a boat, so we think we will leave the weekends for the boatees etc. We enjoyed the views, walks, wildlife & chating to other visitors.

We have just stayed here on the 4 night, pay for 3 deal on a powered caravan site. We cannot speak more highly of the place. It is beautiful, lake views were magnificent, amenities very clean and beautifully maintained grounds. Lots of bbq's, fish cleaning facilities etc. The daily visit from the pelican at the fish cleaning site was a... More

Thank you to all the staff at Somerset Dam for the lovely park and clean facilities. Our 4 day break was very relaxing and although it was very busy we did not feel over crowded. We will definitely be coming back and would like to stay longer.

The scenery is beatiful, the location perfect, accommodation rustic. They're the pluses. The warning? Management of the park is appalling and disorganised. PM me if you want specific detail. We were there for a 100 person wedding. The manager was heard to say "there are too many people with the same surname". The people in one cabin arrived for a... More

It's wonderful to see how much you enjoyed the scenery, location and accommodation. The attitude of our park managers is something we take seriously and this is a very rare complaint for our Lake Somerset Holiday Park managers, who normally receive great feedback. We did have a wedding booked recently, and I believe what the manager may have meant was... More

I stayed here over the October long weekend with my wife and three young children. We were with a group of other families with young kids, hoping to enjoy some swimming, kayaking, fishing and bike riding. We had a great time during the day. It was at night that things turned feral. For the three nights we were there, there... More

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback, and while it's wonderful to see how much you enjoyed the location, it's disappointing that your stay was impacted as a result of other guests. The behaviour described is not tolerated at the park and it is a shame that wasn't reported to the office the following morning so that action... More
