We found this a very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. In the bush but only 11 Kilometres from Kikcoy. We intend to go back in summer and have another relaxing weekend. We quite enjoyed the log cabin.

We enjoyed an extended weekend away camping as a family. Great place for kids to explore. Lots of water activities, especially good in the summer months, but it was great to have a campfire and toast marshmallows. The township of Kilcoy is only a short drive to stock up on good and fuel, so it is conveniently located.

We had seven nights at the Lake thoroughly enjoyed our powered site, sparkling amenities and beautiful water views. Caught plenty of redclaw and a couple of fish. Nights were cool but powered site allowed us some heating. We will return!

We camped for 5 nights on an unpowered site - I wondered why the place was nearly deserted - but soon found out why: It's feezing in mid-winter when the wind blows. Which it was, gale force, and being on a peninsula we got it whichever way it blew!! We were supposed to stay 8 nights but after 5 days... More

We camped in a powered site during the long weekend. It wasnt too busy. Pretty spot with lake on both sides. Small Playground but lots of space for kids to play and ride, Putt putt also kept them busy. The free BBQs were great and the amenities were clean with hot showers and laundry. There is also a common roofed... More

Myself and a group of friends decided on Lake Somerset Holiday Park for the Queens birthday long weekend to celebrate the birthday of a friend. Camping, fishing and catching up around a camp fire was the plan, however this was not the case. First off on arrival i was overwhelmed by the dust bowl like conditions of the camp ground.... More

Just spent 3 days camping with friends here. Unpowered site, was lovely. Water both sides of us, clear flat ground, kids had a ball being free and cycling around. Was busy (queens holiday weekend) but didn't feel squashed in. Not cheap, but top spot. Defo will return!!!!!
