This is the kind of accommodation that should be banned from tourism association of Australia. I just dropped the bag in the room and went out to take a light adaptor from the car when I realized that I was locked out. No reception after 10 pM, no door bell and a phone number diverting to a message center. I... More

Every guest is requested at check-in to make sure that they keep the keys with them so that they don't get locked out after hours. In every single room there is a sign on the inside of the door reminding you to please take your keys with you. This notice is A4 size so that guests don't miss it. You... More

I was excited to visit the legendary pub with no beer recently. It was very quiet as it was Monday lunch time. I ordered a Pure Blonde & yes I was brought a pure blonde but it was a mid strength not the normal pure blonde premium I am served everywhere else. I did complain & they replaced the beer.... More

we are sorry you were not happy with your wedges, if you had mentioned this to the server they would have immediately replaced them for you at no cost, and would probably have given you a discount as well. In regard to the cost of $15.33, that sounds like $8 for the wedges and $7 for the sparkling wine poured... More

My husband & I stayed at this hotel for two nights. This property offers something special to the traveller who has any passing interest in Slim Dusty...."The Pub With No Beer" is a must see for any fan. The Hotel itself is certainly unpretentious....simple foyer and public areas but well maintained and simply decorated. The room we were allocated contained... More

We were touring the area while staying in Townsville. Lees Hotel is an iconic hotel, restaurant and bar. We stopped for a beer and a bite to eat. The service was excellent and everyone was keen to make us welcome. The proprietor is very sociable and eager to share both his establishment and all that this area offers. The fish... More

Rooms very small, didn't like the fact that you needed a key to access foyer first to get to rooms. Average decor. Music downstairs and next door very loud. Staff we're very nice. Prices did agree with service provided

If you, or any other guest is not happy with the room size – we have seven different types of rooms – you only have to mention it to the management, or any of the staff, and provided we have the availability, we will always try and move you to a room that you do like. You just have to... More

My first thought about staying @ a pub was "Yuck" I looked at their adverts and thought? Mmm this looks Interesting?? Made a call too Charles and I was delighted by his phone manner and his knowledge of the surrounding area! On arrival I was blown away! Greeted by a lovely staff member. As I was inquiring earlier in the... More

I stayed this hotel for fishing travels from Japan. The one reason that I selected this hotel was free Wi-Fi. I could check e-mails every nights. Because I could catch a nice size Barramundi in the staying, I asked to cook it for dinner. The Barramundi cooking was so simple and very delicious. My friend said "This Barramungi is most... More

Hotel is in the centre of town so i didnt have to walk far at all to get to the bank or shopping centre or local cafes. I had dinner here and it was great. The staff were... More
