The perfect place to get away from it all. Breakfast outside watching the fantastic butterflies, sunbirds, kookaburras and other wildlife, surrounded by the views of the rainforest; evenings relaxing in the hot tub listening to the sounds of the rainforest. Why did we not book for longer? Thoroughly recommended.

We had a splendid time in this lovely B&B. The surrounding was awesome. The hosts even have their own little walking trail through the rainforest. They were a great help by organising a bird watch trip and we got great information about the surrounding. We loved the "cook your own meal" and the breakfast was great. We enjoyed our three... More

Peter and Daphne were such fantastic hosts, on arrival we received a warm welcome and tour of the amazing property that they own. Both were very helpful and recommended some great places to visit. Without them our holiday wouldn't have been the same! The cottage that we stayed in was very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was delicious and the... More

This place is a hidden gem! Daphne and Peter were wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful... listen to all of their advice! The bungalow was really comfortable and the view out from the terrace was incredible, so peaceful and relaxing, overlooking the forest. We would definitely recommend this place, stay a few nights and enjoy the peace and quiet. And the... More

We couldn't recommend this bed and breakfast more highly! The hosts were absolutely amazing, full of great advise and knowledge of the area. The place was very well maintained and had absolutely everything you need. It's a small drive out of town but is so very worth it, so peaceful and beautiful out there. The breakfasts were fresh and delicious.... More

For those who are looking for peace and a little isolation, the 10K drive down the dirt road from Daintree township to Daphne and Peter's haven is ideal. There are three cabin only and each is well fitted out, (including air conditioning for the more sensitive souls) and the hosts could not be more obliging. They offer Barbecue options if... More

We have loved every moment in Daphne and Peter's bed and breakfast. The bungalow was very comfortable and very well equipped. The terrace overviewing the pounds gave us the opportunity to watch many birds and even some wallabies wandering around. Our hosts were so kind, they proposed their help for everything. Breakfast was fantastic with many homemade products. last but... More

It's a while ago that we stayed here but it remains one of the best places we have ever stayed in. Our big regret was we didn't stay longer than the one night. We are so pleased to read that people still are enjoying the experience of this fantastic place.

We stayed here over Christmas and we were pleased to find this gem in the forest. We had pre-booked a lot of tours that kept us busy during the day and away from the B&B but it was lovely to come back to our room and just take in the sounds of the forest in the evenings. There were a... More

If you like seclusion on the edge of the rainforest, this is the place for you. Daintree Valley Haven is approximately 8 miles from tiny Daintree Village on a dead end road mostly gravel in a beautiful valley of pastureland bordered by rainforest that is home to herds of Brahma cattle. The property consists of several acres of rainforest bordered... More
