Excellent place to stay with family peaceful and quiet the Austalian cottage had every thing you needed with great views. We enjoyed walks around the gardens and the kids loved the pool and visiting the horses. Paul and Jim were great hosts willing to help you with information on places to visit in the area. Would happly stay again.

Thank you R&L for your review. I'm glad your stay was before this week's recurring rains which have revived the lawns and gardens though with extreme humidity. I enjoyed our conversations and look forward to more during your welcomed future stay. Jim More

Unfortunately very disappointed. Booked for 4 days and left after 2, wished we could have left after night one! Very old aprt with lots of things not working or broken, cob webs inside n out, air con kept tripping out, no water pressure, over grown grass, could not fill up bath to bathe kids, wasp nest ect ect the list... Compare prior day guest review for this guest's false complaints and motive. Guest booked via 10% commission Wotif claiming only two adult guests and no children. She later admitted to also 2 older children guests. Guest was emailed corrected increased invoice (consistent with published rates on both Wotif and direct website) and 50% deposit charge for four guests three weeks... More

It was our first time that we have stayed at Cooroy county cottages. We were greeted by Paul when we arrived and shown around our cottage, we arrived late and having some milk in the fridge and a loaf of bread and jam all ready for the morning was appreciated. Our cottage was immaculate very comfortable and private with beautiful... More

Diane, it is rewarding to read that your family of four enjoyed their Australian cottage stay. I would also love to have you stay there again, or the Cooroora other three bedroom cottage. Guests often remark we have the best of both worlds; private secluded tranquil beautiful rural Noosa acreage, yet close to the Bruce Highway for easy access to... More

Instead of our usual beach break over Christmas/New Year, we opted for a country change. Mainly because we were looking for pet friendly accomodation. We found "Cooroy Country Cottages" - what a pleasant surprise. From the moment I sat on our first afternoon with a drink taking in the view and listening to the birds, I felt a sense of... More

Thank you Donna, Paul, Carter & Molly for the supportive review and referrals. We also look forward to your soon return stay when we can resume conversations, walks and observations. Life became simpler during your stay as basic joys, relaxation and family values were repeatedly present. Mother Nature was also kind with perfect weather to treasure her treasures. Beby has... We had an amazing 4 day stay at Cooroy Country Cottages. We stayed in 'The Australian', the cottage itself is immaculate, private and very comfortable, the grounds and gardens are extremely well kept and beautiful (I especially enjoyed the board walk up behind the fountain). There is very easy access to bush walks and an abundance of different birds. The... More

Debra: I'm happy to hear we fulfilled your family stay expectations and that the cottages will be highly recommended. Our rural hideaway has its unique charms, as your review notes, which is often not realized by the many following the Noosa coastal stays, rendering your review much appreciated. Thank you also for being a guest who left the cottage in... More

Very cosy, spacious cottage. I loved the "old world" decor. Clean and comfortable. Very private and the grounds were a delight to walk around. Gardens were well kept. Close to the charming village of Cooroy and Pomona.

Lesley: Based on your guest book comments and this review's compliments, I'm disappointed with the resulting lower 4 star rating and the effect it may have on our listing position. If the purposed "old world" decor of the Federation cottage was the issue, though loved, you might have better chosen the "modern" decors of our other distinct themed cottages. Jim More

We have just spent a week staying in the Australian cottage, and we couldn't have hoped for something more wonderful. The cottage is extremely peaceful, private, surrounded by nature....we even had cattle come and graze under our balcony one evening :-) The views out to the mountains are spectacular - a lovely view to take in while sipping your morning... Used the Studio Suite (it is cheaper) for the second time this year (previous visit in April). It is attached to the Manager's home so is not as private as the cottages, but they are pleasant reserved people and not at all intrusive. The green tropical setting and views are sense filling and you feel like you have them to... More

Roger Thank you taking the time to write a review and we appreciate what you wrote. As you state the reason it is slightly cheaper than the cottages is that you do have privacy (even though it is attached to the managers home but has its own facilities and entrance,) but the cottages have total privacy. Once here we leave... More
