This is arguably the best location in Cooktown, just over the road from the Endeavour River. Our party of four had a well appointed two bedroom apartment. It was not super modern but it was very clean and comfortable. While we were there we had problem with our hire car. The proprietors were very helpful and allowed us to have... More

Location is fantastic for a sunset view of Cooktown Harbour. Each room has two double beds and Microwave and cutlery and crockery. The microwave apparently is not to be used for cooking but for re-heating. Bathroom facilities look very new.

After a 6 hr drive I arrived in Cooktown at 8pm looking for a place to stay. This motel had a lit up vacancy sign & a sign stating for after hours use side door. I rang reception on the phone placed at the door & waited a long time for it to be answered (I nearly hung up). A... More

Stayed one night on my Cooktown visit in a standard room which was both comfortable & clean. Great location & spacious well presented grounds. Quiet & able to get a good night sleep. The hotel overlooks the Endeavour River with good sunset views in the evening. A nice pool & plenty of parking. No restaurant here, but the best restaurants... More

This motel boasts that it's the only one which overlooks the river and, basically, it's true, given its elevated position at the eastern end of Charlotte Street. It has no less than four grades of accommodation, but if you're wanting a modicum of privacy and really large rooms with your own balcony and four chairs overlooking the broad expanse of... More

We were extremely happy with the deluxe room, very roomy, good quality. We had previously stayed in the basic room some years ago, and so glad we made the decision to book the deluxe this time. Extremely happy with our room, sat on the verandah overlooking the Endeavour River, to eat our pizza ordered from the Italian Restaurant just up... More

Stayed in so called self contained unit right at the end of this large complex. It did look out to the Endeavour river harbour but it was a very basic unit. The shower was strong and hot and there is a small fridge and jug with small sink. The bed was just ok and the TV small. Not great value... More

Hi PKC54, Just a small point the room that you were in, was a semi-self contained, Not a self contained. And as such facilities are limited. But glad that you enjoyed the views from the room. Regards Sandra More

Back with our other set of Grandchildren staying in a townhouse which couldn't be more perfect! Plenty of space for everyone, 2 toilets, 2 bedrooms, full kitchen. Bring your clothes and food and you won't be able to drag yourself away from the view 😎

We were lucky enough to stay in the Deluxe Room - excellent for the price - not a cluttered room, lots of nice facilities, tea, coffee, hair dryer, iron and board, CLEAN - the bed was very comfortable, the blanket was real cotton - not the little 'nylon' thing most places now offer - the view was beautiful, the restaurants...
