This place is great for families. Offering a range of facilities from powered sites through to cabins. There is a large pool, very large outdoor undercover kitchen with a couple of fridges and tv. The cabins have a small kitchen with two burner cooktop and microwave but no oven. Its a 10 minute walk to town, quiet and located near the... More

Four of us stayed in a two room cabin for two nights. The cabins are slightly too small for that many adults but we spent most of our time swimming and sightseeing so it didn't bother us too much. Facilities in the cabins are good. No complaints about the beds or air conditioning. The swimming pool is reasonably large and... More

A beautiful, green, well kept holiday park. Extremely clean and staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the salt water pool and the camp kitchen is big and spotless. Bathrooms are fantastic - large single bathrooms for each person with a shower, toilet and sink - very clean. A very relaxing holiday park, listening to the birds and sitting under... More

The facilities at this caravan park are fantastic and should be an example to all holiday caravan parks. The gardens were well kept, the individual ensuites a great design and clean and the camp kitchen and pool area the best I have seen. We rode our bikes to Cooktown along the Bloomfield track in July and this park was an... More

Upon arrival Heather at reception was very friendly and made us feel welcome. The camp ground was a good distance away from cabins and other campers so it felt like we weren't camping on top of one another. The amenities were very clean. The caravan park had everything we needed from clothes line to a camp kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave... More

We were impressed as soon as we arrived as the lady on reception was so pleasant and helpful. As soon as we were booked in we were shown to our site and advised as to how to position our vehicle to make the best of both the shade and the breeze. The site was busy but it is to be... More

If you are going to Cooktown & perhaps the tip this is a great place to stay in your caravan. Staff at reception were fantastic. The amenities all good & a nice pool to cool off in. Only a k/m or so from the shops, pubs, restaurants.Would stay here again.

Our family stayed for two nights on the way up to Cape York and three nights on the way back. We had a camp site for our camper trailer. The sites had plenty of room to open up and spread out without being on top of other campers. The amenities are wonderful, the little rooms with toilet, shower, sink and dressing... More

We stayed in a 'Budget cabin' for the night for $140.00. It was a very poor experience. No hot water in the showers, Air con not working properly, hard uncomfortable bed, grubby old cabin all round. May have been a 'budget cabin' but for $140 that's no budget price for the conditions. Value for money very poor.
