Rooms are clean and fairly roomy though a bit dated, good A/C and beds are comformy. Only just discovered there is a pool so will have to wait till next year... More

Currently enjoying a motoring holiday in North Queensland, we have had some disastrous motels and average meals, so it was with some degree of apprehension that we booked The Park at the last minute, but I am so glad we did. The main building is a beautiful old Australian style hotel with lots of character, the staff are really friendly,... More

I always stop somewhere in charters towers, for a dinner meal on the way to work. I never tried the food at the park before, but I seen a sign saying new chef. So I thought I would try it, and I am glad I did. Out of everywhere I have had a meal in this town, it had to... More

Stayed for just one night on drive south from Undara. It's a beautiful old building at the front and rooms at the back. Rooms a little dated but very clean and comfortable. Very comfy bed. The welcome on arrival was very good - lovely couple running it. Very happy to help with laundry - put it in washing machine and... More

Rooms are clean and big with everything you expect included. Bathrooms are maybe a little dated, but it was spotless so that's fine. Staff are friendly and helpful. Closest accommodation, with off street parking, to the centre of town- a 2 min level walk next to the park. Best value I could find too- $95....

I've stayed here a couple of times and can't find fault in this little motel. Clean, tidy, plenty of room for me. The dinner was really good too. Overall it was a really nice experience. Charter Towers is a nice little town with plenty of history too.

We had a choice of 1st floor hotel room or ground floor motel. The hotel rooms are being progressively renovated so the open area had signs of the construction. We chose a renovated hotel room because it was more roomy although the building is clearly old. We ate in the dining room but unfortunately there were too many unplanned guests... More

I think this was the last room in Charters Towers and you should always book in advance if your travelling to this area, This room was the basic room but to be honest wasn't that bad. Typical room with Single bed and a dbl bed with TV and tea and coffee making facilities. Soft bed which I like and staff... More

Stayed at this Motel and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves compared to the last time we were there. The people who previously were there are no longer and a new fresh faced management team seem like they have it all under control. Was having a chat to the owner about their plans and future renovations/make overs that are soon to be done.... More

This is actually a VERY tired and run down motel, and in great need of some renovation and rejuvenation. However, all the staff provide amazingly efficient and pleasant service in what could be a real gem in this town. It was an icon, now it is quite sad. Good things? The counter/bistro meals are incredible value for money; the fish/chips/salad... More
