Went here for breakfast and not likely to go back. Ordered breakfast with coffee and I asked for an extra shot in my coffee. Coffee was bought to us and dispite the coffee machine being there I believe we where given instant coffee, love my coffee but this wasn't real coffee, breakfast was ok, typical breakfast you would expect. Just... More

We have travelled from Victoria to Darwin to Bali to Cairns in the last 3 months. PKs was one of the most friendly, laid back and ideal stays we gave had. Close to everything. Great dining at Jungle bar. (One of the best steaks my wife has ever had). You can book everything to do at Cape Trib with them.... More

We were in our camper at PKs and we really enjoyed our spot. We booked for 2 nights with the idea of staying for 3 but we just couldn't handle the showers. They were terrible with about a thousand cobwebs above your head. Judging by managements response to criticism on trip advisor I know they would say don't stay in... More

We stayed in a 6 bed dorm which is relatively basic but clean and comfortable. The pool is nice and it's a short walk to the beach but there isn't really much else very close unless you have a car. The kitchen is quite big but you have to borrow the crockery/cutlery from reception which is an inconvenience. Also the... More

I had an amazing time at Pk's. The location was beautiful and the accomodations were comfortable. The food was really good. The staff was extremely friendly, especially the bartender Dillan. Overall, my stay was magnificent. This was my favorite spot that I stayed at on my study abroad trip.

Just spent a few relaxing and very enjoyable days at PK's unwinding, dining, imbibing and beach combing. With a mate and a couple of noisy exuberant nine year old boys in tow we were looking for a casual, accepting and laid-back getaway. We got it in spades! Our powered campsite, nestled under magnificent shade trees and set in a well... More

Good for cheap shared accommodation. Great natural location by the rainforest and beach. (Note, Ordered a cooked breakfast and waited for about an hour. Turns out they forgot and and then I had to wait for the meal to start to be cooked. :(

Hello Qld Guest, Thank you so much for writing you review for us here on Trip Advisor. I'm really glad you enjoyed your stay and liked the accommodation, it is such a beautiful place up here and rather exotic. It is however a real shame that our staff forgot your breakfast order. I cannot seem to figure out how this... More

Do not recommend. Disgusting rooms with asbestos walls. Two beers from the bar were flat. We ordered thai green currys from the pub and got what looked like a beef stew with horribly undercooked unsalted rice and they were disgustingly spicy. The person we were told was the chef and cooked the meal was in fact not a chef at... More

We stayed at PKs for originally 3 nights in our campervan. 3 nights turned into 7 we loved it so much. Real jungle experience with amazing beaches, fantastic management and staff, and some very very cool locals with the best stories you might ever hear! Facilities were plentiful and clean! Kitchen had everything you needed and large fridge! Great bar... More

We had planned to stay here as part of a charity fundraising group that we participate in annually. Our booking was confirmed and secured by payment in full in February (for a May stay), however we were contacted by the event organisers (not PK management) that due to overbooking we had to be relocated to another location (Ferntree). Initially we... More
