Nice location set amongst rainforest & close to beach but that's it. Our room was small & smelly & would benefit from an overall clean -from thick dust on ceiling fan to the spider webs on the ceiling, duct tape holding the fly screens together & insects crawling every where. We left with ichy bites all over us. It reminds... More

This was one of the best and most unusual places I stayed during my year travelling. It's amazing. Located in the middle of nowhere in the tropical rainforest, you find this beach house - unique accomodation in huts, with a bar at the entance to the beach. Wow, once in a lifetime eh! Loved it here, stayed 3 days /... More

My wife, son and myself stayed at Cape Trib Beach House for two wonderful nights as part of a visit to north Queensland last month. The location in the Daintree rainforest with easy access (approx 20m from the bar/restaurant) to a wonderful, deserted tropical beach is superb. Staff light a campfire on the beach every evening and the chat with... More

Really nice and affordable place, in the rain forest, few steps from amazing private beach. Romantic, good facilities, friendly staff. They offer nice horseback riding, which we enjoyed very much and other sightseeing in the area.

We stayed one night at cape trib beach house and were so impressed! The location is perfect, the staff fantastic and possibly the most relaxed and peaceful place I've ever been. I've never slept so well to the sounds of the ocean. The staff are friendly caring and relaxed and happy. Wanted to stay a month!! Thanks guys.

Loved the location of the beach house. So beautiful both in the day and also for star gazing in the night. The bar/ restaurant was quirky, food was simple but good, it was great that there was a communal kitchen/ dinning area so you can prepare breakfast and simple lunches. The pool was nice and the atmosphere was relaxed and... More

Our stay in one of the St Crispin Beachfront cabins was really enjoyable. The Beach House is best described as an alternative beach resort for those travellers that don't generally visit beach resorts. The location on the boundary of the Daintree rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Areas is amazing. The food available at the onsite restaurant was... More

We stayed here for one night as part of a cape tribulation tour. I was very disappointed! The location was amazing and the staff were lovely. However it was so expensive it really annoyed us. $9-$10 for a drink and $20-30 for a main course which was good but not worth that price. If I had been prepared I would... More

Hi I am so glad you enjoyed the location and thought the staff were great. Your comments about the bar and bistro are in fairness not accurate. I know no drink where it costs $9 - 10. A can of beer is $6 - and basic spirits are similar price. Our food is the same as Cairns prices - we... More
