What an extraordinary place! In the rainforest which happens to be one of the oldest in the world and a super nice beach where two heritage sites meets. Great Barrier reef and Daintree Rainforest. I like jungles and rainforest a lot so this was literally paradise to me. The beach is very nice to walk along at low tide but... More

Only a one night stop on a 2 week roadtrip but absolutely delightful. Our cabin was simple but had everything we needed, the bar and dining area was the perfect setting to chill out and have a lovely meal at a reasonable price. The beach was just a short walk and the tranquility was like nothing I've experienced before.

Our family spent 3 nights at Cape Trib beach house and received exceptional service, all the staff were fantastic, Georgie couldn't get us in to the tours we wanted to do as they were booked out but she followed up and got us in to one of them before we left, our beds were made each morning which we didn't... Just had the most amazing weekend away. We spent two nights at the beach house in a cabin right next to the beach. What appealed to me was the many options of accommodation at very affordable prices. You can stay in shared dorms or private cabins. Our cabin was very comfortable with an ensuite and fridge. You can do your... More

A stay @ Cape Tribulation Beach House was certainly the highlight of our holiday in Far North Queensland. Where do we start ? Astonishing surroundings, well set up accommodation and the staff is just unbelievable. When we got there, our room was not ready (which was their mistake), so we got voucher for drinks, free diner at the Restaurant and... More

To start with, i have to say that the room we stayed in (5-share family room) had absolutely disgusting mattresses: old, thin and greasy - a perfect place for bed bugs to live. Luckily, we didn't have a pleasure to meet any this time. The communal kitchen was the smallest kitchen I've ever seen, with no ventilation system, which resulted... More

Finally a not perfect review - which shows Tripadvisor is a true reflection of customers experiences and not a marketing tool of hotels or resorts. This reviewer had an average experience here - this is totally my fault. What happened - Customer arrived on Easter long weekend - were full to capacity with an unexpected group arriving. Further, we had... More

When my husband and I stayed at the Cape Tribulation Beach House we were very happy with both the accommodation and the setting. Although we couldn't park our car close to our room, once we had carried our luggage down to the cabin we actually preferred it that this property stretched for a few hundred metres along a pathway that... The Daintree is just beautiful and the cabins are well spaced. They are definitely budget accommodation but you are really just there to sleep. The bistro area is warm and inviting, with lots of tables, a bar, telly & lounge and pool. The staff were very friendly and any issues were quickly rectified. Nothing was too much trouble. A porta... The settings of the Beach House at Cape tribulation are exceptionnal: we stayed in a very clean and comfortable cabin by the beach, in the middle of this magnificent rain forest. On arrival we were greeted by a very efficient and pleasant team who made sure our accomodation was what we were expecting. We enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant... More

My time in the rainforest was great. The accommodation at Cape Trib Beach House gave me a chance to relax from the business of traveling. I didn't feel rushed or that I needed to see or do anything here because there isn't much. The room we stayed in was very nice and even had air conditioning. The bathroom was up... More
