I'm a local to tropical north Qld and this is my favourite place to escape to. My old school friend was up from Sydney and this was the first place I booked to show her. Rooms are always clean, food is good and well priced and the setting is magic.

Each year we return to Cape Tribulation and each year we a constantly reminded of how amazing not only this part of the world is, but how amazing The Cape Tribulation Beach House is. While other accommodation options in Cape Trib are constantly changing hands, the beach house is constantly improving. The St Crispin cabins are newly renovated and arguably... More

Remember, you're in the jungle. Animal encounters should be expected. =) Our first room had ants in the fridge. Not a completely big issue, but we went ahead to tell the front desk. They immediately apologized and put us in a nicer room, beers in hand. We really appreciated that after having experienced different levels of customer service in Asia.... More

We read the reviews here before booking - had our expectations high so hoped for a great time away. The moment you walk into reception you know something is right - your greeted with a big hello and smiles all around. We were lucky as we had Matt check us in and it's pretty much what the other reviews say... More

We very much enjoyed our visit to Cape Trib beach house. It was very nice to be able to be so close to the rainforest, and the strong air conditioning in the rooms made the stay very pleasant compared to some of the more humid and uncomfortable dwellings we found.
