An excellent place to stay and a big thank you to all the staff for their friendship and hospitality. We spent most of Xmas and NYE there and found the place to be relaxing, clean and great location. Staff advised against swimming in the sea due to marine stingers but directed us to a local freshwater swimming hole (Crocodile free).... More

Great place to stay location perfect and pizzas are just amazing. I was happy with everything here including the service and quality of grounds. Grounds are better kept at this location then the other camp site we visited further south at cape Kimberley but the location at cape Kimberly was better due to location of beach - but they are... Nice little Camp Ground offering good camp sites pretty much at the beach. Very nice camp kitchen and Restaurant on Site, TRY THE PIZZAS - They are delicious! Only thing I would ask for is Soap in the bathrooms and maybe some paper towels for hygiene reasons. Friendly staff and amazing beach make it a nice stay.

Great place to set up camp and explore Daintree and Cape Tribulation. Perfect location 30 seconds walk to the beach. Toilet facilities were clean. Overall it was very relaxing and the pizza was great too!

My husband and I stayed here very recently (December 2014) and it was brilliant! Nothing was too much for the staff, the campsite is a stones throw from the beach, which was stunning and the communal areas were very clean. The campsite is not flashy by any means, but who wants that in the tropical rainforest?! A convenient shop within... More

Recently stayed for my second time at Cape Trib Camping in the Safari Tents. Great clean basic tent accommodation. Clean Amenities. A fabulous location. Do not expect 5 star, it's great simple accommodation in Cape Trib. The bruschetta & pizza available are absolutely delicious. Hang out at the bar/cafe and have a few drinks, great feed and chat with other... More

It's a amazing place, from the campground you have about 50 meters to the beach. There are coconut palmtrees on the beach and on the really beutiful walks around you can see cassowaries (we saw one with 3 chicks!) and a lot of other wildlife. In the evening there's the opportunity to have a really good woodfired pizza on the... More

We spent two nights (Nov 8 to Nov 10) at Cape Trib Camping. We arrived without any booking and were lucky they had sites. 30$ for an unpowered site, 40$ for a powered site (for 2 adults with a van). Do not expect something luxurious, you are pretty much in the middle of nowhere! Bring your own food. No cell... More

We drove up here to book for the family, later, when we returned they had lost our booking, called us liars, shouted until we cried, my 10 year old grand daughter said it wasn't worth it and we all left. We have travelled all over Australia, meeting only kindness everywhere except for here!

We stayed for three nights, and they were the highlight of our four week Australia trip. Amazing location only a couple of meters away from a tropical beach. Perfect place to relax. Staff were really helpful in booking us a couple of things to do. Nice atmosphere at the bar in the evening, without getting too noisy. For an impression... More
