We were told about this place by someone on the Daintree river, so we kept a look out for it as we drove to Cape Trib. We did not stay here, but just had lunch. The bar/restaurant is quite rough and ready, though clean and full of character. The camping plots are directly on the beach. We were drawn here... More

My partner and i stayed at Cape Trib campsite in early March for 4 x days. What an amazing place!!!! I can't express how fantastic it was to stay here. The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful and so were their staff. Everyone had smiles on their faces all the time. The campsite is beautiful - it took my breath... More

Do NOT go past Cape Trib camping,, From my initial phone contact through to arrival and departure the staff were accommodating with passion, friendly with affection and as the favoured slang in the Nth of Qld is 'too easy' - they definitely lived up to that. The pizza chefs were delightful and agree with all reviews have not had such... More

We didn't stay here, but happened upon the place by accident, and what a happy accident! Luckily this happy accident occurred on a Sunday lunch time. The pizza is the best I have had. EVER. We walked a 9km round trip to have a second meal there and it was worth it. well done and thanks.

Came back to Paradise and so glad we did , we stayed 2/1/14 to 6/1/14 only 4 nights but could have stayed forever. We were blessed by the weather and although they forecast storms etc we had brilliant weather all the time . Staff from Arrival to Departure were as always friendly and helpful and the campsite and facilities were... More

We didn't stay but we visited for dinner and the wood fired pizza was amazing, as was the HUGE serving of garlic bread. A very relaxed atmosphere, just what you would expect to find in a tropical paradise. Would definitely recommend :)

A return visit to Cape Trib camping was just as awesome as our first visit in Nov 2012. Being able to carry a drink and a chair to the beach only meters from your campsite and sit in shade and watch the tides do their thing is fantastic. Facilities are pretty good for a remote camp ground, the cafe/bar &... More

Cape Trib Camping was a lovely facility. All of the staff were very friendly and the wood smoked pizzas were delicious! The facilities were clean and spacious and the campsites are directly adjacent to the beach. We would absolutely stay again if we are to re-visit the area. After sun down the campsites are quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our kayak... More

This campsite offers spacious forested facilities close to a beautiful secluded beach. Many amenities are offered including a fridge, basins, washing machine, showers,WC and gas cookers. We stayed in one of the permanent tents there, which are basic and looking in need of a revamp. Overall it's a wonderful place to camp.
