The park is in a good location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We picked this park based on previous good reports online and very glad we did. It's not as close to the centre of Bowen as some others however, after checking the other parks, it's the pick of the bunch. Ask for the newest part of... More

We stayed here for four nights had a ball, the welcome on arrival was great and the explanation of the facilities available etc and welcome BYO drinks at 'Happy Hour' every afternoon. The other guests were also just as welcoming. Within walking distance is Golf Club, Bowls Club, Beach - great for fishing and swimming, and Bar/bottleshop.

This is a lovely park with really large sites in the new section. Amenities are spotless, nice new camp kitchen and grounds kept in excellent condition. Staff friendly and helpful. Couldn't have asked for any more. One of the nicest parks we have stayed in.

We stayed one night in a powered site. On our 3 week holiday staying in numerous parks along the way. I would say this was my favourite. The sites are roomy and private. Our neighbour is a resident and was so lovely and helpful. Whilst it may not have the views of some parks we have visited I didn't mind... More

Stopped here for 2 nights, while we re-discovered Bowen after a gap of 30 years. Can't praise the place highly enough. We had an ensuite cabin, which was immaculate and beautifully appointed. Very comfortable bed, and spacious bathroom. We were most impressed with the park itself - manicured lawns, and neat gardens everywhere. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 6 nights. The owners were very understanding that we put our arrival back for 5 days due to Cyclone Ita. This park is spotless, has the best camp kitchen I have seen, complete with toasters and kettles, frypans and general basic cooking utensils. All the camping sites have trees on three sides giving a very private... More

Whilst travelling from our home in Noosa to Townsville we punctuated our journey at a couple of newly discover destinations. This is our fist time stay here at the Queens Beach Tourist Village and it will not be our last. We only booked a one night stay in one of the self-contained holiday units and we were not disappointed in... More

The sites in this park are huge. We have a motorhome car and trailer. Given our choice of sites. The vehicles we have fit on 1 site with room for a caravan also. Fantastic. Plenty of elbow room here. The ablutions block in the new section of the park are first rate. The park is clean and every one is... More

After the dry and heat of out west we decided to head home down the coast and picked Bowen as Pete knew the area. We arrived at Queensl Beach Tourist Village for one night. But after taking the short walk to the beach and finding such a lovely beach where the dogs could run and swim, we decided to take... More

When we arrived in Bowen, it was blowing a gale - apparently not unusual - so we picked this park because, although it was not too far from the water, the location a block or two back provided more sheltered than most. It was a great choice. Beautiful gardens separate the van sites and the facilities are very good; the... More
