We just turned up at nearly seven PM one evening, looking for a powered site for our camper van, we hadn't booked and it was our first night of a week on this campervan experience in Australia. We were enthusiastically welcomed, and offers a choice of pitches, we chose one near the shower block. The pitch was individual, with hedges... More

This was just an overnight stop for us but wish we were staying longer. The owners/managers were very welcoming and very accommodating. We have three children ranging in age from 2 to 12, and the 2 year old is yet to adjust to sleeping in a caravan. I asked if it would be possible if we could possibly be a... More

We stayed in a front cabin with views over the pool. You could not have asked for better service and a cleaner cabin with crisp clean sheets. The maintenance on the property was exceptional considering the drought conditions. The nearby lookout on Mount Nutt Rd is definitely worth a visit and don't forget to climb the stairs to the top... This is definitely one of the best parks we have stayed in, and we have been travelling Australia for nearly 9 years. The grounds are immaculate and each site has bushes and palms encasing your site making it very private (the only park we have come across). The owners and managers can't do enough for you. The best park in... More

Travelling up North this winter we chanced upon this caravan pakr, having booked at another one which we found was too cramped and not that well maintained. This caravan park provided lovely large grassed sites in a quiet location. While not right on the beach it was only a 5 minute walk away, plus a great walking track running along... More

A very pleasant caravan park. Large sites are available for a small extra cost. Park is immaculate. Facilities are kept in pristine condition and are numerous. A very friendly place with campers and staff very welcoming. Although a bit out of town, there are basic services nearby.... A service station with basic food items, bowls and golf clubs and the... This park would have to be the pick of the bunch in Bowen! While not directly on the beach it is centrally located. The park is very well maintained with lovely gardens. The newer section at the rear of the park can fit large vans in with plenty of room for an awning and car. There are 3 amenities blocks... More

The park is in a good location and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We picked this park based on previous good reports online and very glad we did. It's not as close to the centre of Bowen as some others however, after checking the other parks, it's the pick of the bunch. Ask for the newest part of... More

We stayed here for four nights had a ball, the welcome on arrival was great and the explanation of the facilities available etc and welcome BYO drinks at 'Happy Hour' every afternoon. The other guests were also just as welcoming. Within walking distance is Golf Club, Bowls Club, Beach - great for fishing and swimming, and Bar/bottleshop.
