We were lucky to get into this caravan park as it is very busy, and people tend to stay, and stay, then extend, we paid slightly more to go into the new section, which was well worth it, as it takes larger vans and has more room to park. Great amenities, great camp kitchen, well worth it.

Thank you MikenGail for this review. Like you said, our new section can handle the larger motor home, coach or van and these reviews help us spread the word. Cheers. More

Stayed 6 nights with young family in tow, during September. Park facilities and grounds are immaculate - truly first rate and a credit to staff and management. Very near to Queen's Beach foreshore - about a 5 minute walk. Limited kids facilities vs. the Big 4 type parks - only draw back for families in my opinion. The park is... More

Thank you Luke for your comments. Yes a lot of work is put into the park surrounds and Bowen does have many wonderful beaches with play equipment only a short distance away. It was a pleasure having you and the family stay. More

Very nice tourist Park. Well set out and sites are well maintained, gardens and big enough. Amenities are nice too It's not on the beach but you can walk to it. Plenty to do nearby like fishing, golf, tennis and bowls. I can understand why campers like to stay here for some time.

I was traveling through from Sydney to Cairns (on re-location) and stayed at Bowen because I used to be a tour guide and have stayed at many places on the coast before... but not Bowen! Queens beach had very affordable prices to stay in a cabin for 2 nights so I booked on Wotif and crossed my fingers. No need!!!!... More

This park is a credit to the owners and their staff. we are at the back of the park fantastic sites great amenities. At $38 a night for your site for two people it is worth every cent. The larrikin hotel is also a great place for a meal while you stay.

This park is superb! Modern amenities and ample amount for number of people staying. Very private with hedges between sites and designated walkways. Fantastic camp kitchens. Only a short walk to the beach. Top notch and has been the highlight of our trip.

We stayed at this place last year and provided a very positive review. Great to see that the park has maintained its fantastic standard. Would have to be the best cared for park in Bowen. We hadn't seen green grass since we left Brisbane. Ground keepers constantly looking after sites. Cleanliness of amenities second to none.

This park is definitely worth our 5 star rating. Reflecting on our week long stay, we can't find anything to criticise. Staff is great, sites are excellent with lovely grass and privacy bushes, amenities are plentiful, modern and spotless, kitchen is large and well equipped and the pool is welcome on hot days. The park is really quiet and welcoming... More

From our first stay (three months) five years ago, we have experienced nothing but good times. Great amenities, friendly and welcoming staff and residents. Plenty of good times in the camp kitchen; sausage sizzles, fish cook ups and music each year. Close to local pub, beach 250 metres away and a town with all we need for our stay. A... More

We cannot believe how incorrect the review was as we cannot speak highly enough of this amazing well run, secure, immaculate beautifully landscaped Park. Bowens Queens Beach park is our destination from South Australia for the last 14 years.
