Spent 2 nights in one of the tree houses. Everything you require has already been included. Local tea and coffee, handmade soap, weber BBQ, washing machine, dryer, full kitchen, spa bath. As grandparents we visited with our daughter and 1 year old grandson. Cot and high chair provided. Everything was spotlessly clean. Walking trails were easy to follow and we... More

Had the most wonderful family break! The Treehouses are private and quiet, beautiful inside with a spa bath and wood fire. Spacious too. But the kicker is the wildlife. You can walk up to the main house to watch the wallabies and possums being fed at dusk. Each morning our balcony was filled with king parrots and honey eaters, eating... More

Despite poor weather, the side trip to stay in the Atherton tablelands was well worth the 100 mins drive from Cairns and most memorably as a result of the excellent facility at Canopy Treetops. In line with all the other reviews, we found David to be an excellent host; full of useful info both on the local area and on... More

Just returned from two nights at the Canopy and can honestly say we have never experienced anything quite like it! We were greeted at reception by David, who welcomed us with an informative introduction to the surrounding rainforest and the various wildlife within. David is a wildlife carer who is obviously very knowledgeable and passionate about the native animals he... More

David and Sharon are wonderful hosts and so in touch with the flora, fauna and environment. We applaud them for their roles in keeping this piece of rainforest so pristine. We stayed here for 3 nights of tranquility and total enjoyment. The tree houses welcoming and have everything one could want. The fire so enjoyable as the night temperatures dropped.... More

This is a perfect place for families and animal lovers. The treehouse exceeded our expectations...was clean, well appointed and there was turtle and bird food and bananas for the nocturnal animal visitors to our balcony. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Cairns area.

My family stayed two nights this past weekend and had the best time. It's our second time round and we still love it. Highlights were the setting, fire place, spotless treehouse, spa bath, gowns, slippers, electric blankets and fabulous hosts. The wildlife is the best as you get up close with all the local animals and my partner and daughter... More

This place is just lovely and the owner does all he can to make sure you enjoy your stay. The Treehouse's are well appointed and clean. Bird seed, bananas and turtle feed are all provided and its a good thing because at night we had a number of possums come for a visit. There are beautiful birds that are very... More

We organised this accommodation at the last minute over Easter so all the Treehouses were taken and we were in the Rainforest unit, however I couldn't imagine anything more perfect!!! It was so nice and quiet and relaxing, and we were treated to a gorgeous cassowary and his chick, pademelons and possums every night! We did some hand feeding, and... More
