This is a perfect place for families and animal lovers. The treehouse exceeded our expectations...was clean, well appointed and there was turtle and bird food and bananas for the nocturnal animal visitors to our balcony. We would recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Cairns area.

My family stayed two nights this past weekend and had the best time. It's our second time round and we still love it. Highlights were the setting, fire place, spotless treehouse, spa bath, gowns, slippers, electric blankets and fabulous hosts. The wildlife is the best as you get up close with all the local animals and my partner and daughter... More

This place is just lovely and the owner does all he can to make sure you enjoy your stay. The Treehouse's are well appointed and clean. Bird seed, bananas and turtle feed are all provided and its a good thing because at night we had a number of possums come for a visit. There are beautiful birds that are very... More

We organised this accommodation at the last minute over Easter so all the Treehouses were taken and we were in the Rainforest unit, however I couldn't imagine anything more perfect!!! It was so nice and quiet and relaxing, and we were treated to a gorgeous cassowary and his chick, pademelons and possums every night! We did some hand feeding, and... More

We stayed in the treehouses for four nights in April 2014. The treehouses are just that, a house elevated up among the canopy of the rainforest just as the name suggests. They are very well appointed with washer and dryer, dishwasher and functional kitchen, and a great outside deck with a quality BBQ and outdoor setting. Our kids 8 and... More

We've spent quite a few vacations in rainforest "eco-resorts" and other such properties. Canopy Rainforest is quite a treat for those who enjoy the rainforest experience mixed with a touch of luxury. The cabin is very nicely appointed and quiet. But the real fun was in the interactions with the rainforest denizens: the cassowary, pademelons, possums and assorted birds were... More

We stayed at the Canopy Rain forest retreat for three nights as part of our honeymoon, it was beautiful, calm and relaxing. The houses are spacious, clean and fully appointed. David, the owner, was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, he had lots of time for my 10 year old daughter and answered all her questions. The pademelon feeding in the evening... More

We had stayed here before and so enjoyed it that we came back. If possible, it was even better this time. Although all we saw of Tui the Cassowary were tracks and droppings that may have been all we missed. Greeted in the morning by birds at the feeder, in the evenings by possum at the feeder, and so much... More

We returned to the Treehouses after an 8 year absence. Loved it the first time but wondered if it would be as good as we remembered. It was, and more. The houses themselves are lovely. Basically an a-frame with a loft bedroom, and a full kitchen, bath with jetted tub and master bedroom downstairs. But "downstairs" is one story up... More

The service was amazing, and the Bower House we stayed in was amazing. We spent three nights feeding the local wildlife and kicking back and relaxing. The grounds are extensive and are great for bushwalking and feeding the fish and turtles. It is an easy drive to most of the attractions on the Atherton Tablelands.
