I have been staying regularly at the Summit B&B since early January while in Atherton for work. Unlike a previous reviewer my experience has been great and I would recommend this accommodation for a business traveller. An excellent alternative to the stuffy traditional 'business motel room' especially if you are staying for a few days. It is a beautiful house... More

No table, desk or luggage rack of any sort. There is 1 chair in the corner of the room I managed to balance my bag on and no wifi which again was my error for not checking. No air conditioning in the room made it unbearable to do any work. Due to the extreme humidity the windows were jammed shut... More

Dear Michelle, Thankyou for taking the time to supply feedback from your brief stay at The Summit B & B. We have many satisfied corporate clients who use our accommodation on a regular basis. There are several areas where you could do your work, outside on the deck, dining area or lounge room. As stated to you a number of... More

Recently I had arranged a small family reunion for my mother & her brothers & sister. This was to catch up with another of their brothers who now can't travel. We came from various parts of NSW & QLD. The Summit Rainforest Retreat that overlooks Atherton was brilliant & the view absolutely stunning. I offer a very special thanks to... More

Pleasurable stay at the Summit bed and breakfast, great position up on the hill in a beautiful purpose built bed and breakfast. Nice little pool with views over Atherton. Hosts were most helpful with things to do in the area also making us feel very welcome. I wouldn't hesitate staying there again or recommending to friends and family.

My husband booked this on the internet for two nights. He thought he had booked the apartment overlooking the tablelands. We arrived up the ugliest drive I have seen to a large cellphone tower and a car park that may have been acceptable in the 1970s. The apartment was at the back of the property looking to a we all,... Hi, thank you for your feedback. We totally agree that everyone should be very clear & take care on what they're booking. We have just revamped our own website, including virtual tours, so that our clients can walk through the entire property and see exactly what the establishment looks like. The Apartment and the House both have virtual tours set... More

My daughter and I wanted to stay on the tablelands for one nite to see the New Year in and do some sightseeing the following day. The Summit B&B was a wonderful destination to arrive at after a hard day's work after collecting the keys from the owners at their home. We were given a room each, with an adjoining... More

From the moment we arrived at the Bluegum B & B to pick up our key to the Wallaby room of the Summit B& B, I thought how friendly John the host was and how organised and dedicated his family was when it came to hosting. We, that is my husband, our two year old and I, were given a... More

We booked the apartment and the owners kindly upgraded us to the house. The house is well equipped and clean. The owners are clearly passionate about the area they live in and provide a great guide to the area. It would have been an excellent but unfortunately there is a large mobile phone tower at the entrance to the property.... More

We had booked in to a B&B owned by the same couple (Helen and John), but they 'upgraded' us to the Retreat as they'd over booked the B&B. The Retreat was far too large for us as a couple, but would be an excellent choice if you're travelling with a large group. The property is very well presented, views are... More
