Greeted by a very friendly and welcome lady at reception after a weary day of diving. Room very clean with great amenities. Got chatting to friendly people in neighbouring bedrooms. Very restful nights sleep, recharging me for a full day of diving! Also great location between rosebud and Rye. Highly recommend!

Stayed one night at this quaint motel in Rye. The reception staff (owner) was nice enough. Check in was simple. At first glance the exterior, although well maintained, showed the age of the motel. Once inside Room 14 we were pleasantly surprised at the fresh paint and new carpet. The overall cleanliness was exceptional and the kitchenette had every thing... More

Stayed 1 night on road trip around Coastal Victoria. Basic accommodation with comfortable bed, great heating (night was a little nippy!) and friendly staff. Booked on the fly late afternoon for good price ( for this area).

Stayed here for one night with my boyfriend and another couple who took a room as well. The motel is easy to find and pleasantly located just across the road from the beach. We arrived early but were able to check into our rooms which were ready. We had a picnic lunch in their little garden area which was nice.... More

Stayed here when we were in town for a wedding. Staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were old but clean, and the bed was comfortable. I felt that $120 per night was a little on the steep side for such basic accommodation but overall the motel itself is fine. Great little cafe on the corner too. Would stay again.

Stayed for 1 night at the Rye Beah Motel during our trip to the Great Ocean Road and then on to Philip Island. Initially had difficulty finding low cost ,self contained accommodation in this area, so was happy find this motel for $120 a night. The motel and rooms are quite old, but was clean and comfortable, service was fine.... More

We were on a self-drive tour around the coast from Sydney to Adelaide. We arrived about 7.30pm with no reservation. The only other motel nearby appeared full. This place seemed a bit run down, about 40 years old, partly renovated. Bathroom had been renovated and was OK, bed was comfortable. Next morning it appeared we had been the only guests... More
